do you guys feel like mylot is a friendly counselor?

i want to thank all those who participate in my discussions.i get to learn so much and also its like a counselor ,you get to see issues from so many angles am glad to be able to have this opportunity to have such friends to discuss issues with, i have used the responses to advise people and also those that concern me i have been able to adopt in my own life.Are you on this line of thought?

I didn't realize that I had sooo much advise to offer people until I joined Mylot. lol But joking aside, giving advise has helped me solidify who I am. As I write and respond to others, it helps me understand me better. I hope this makes sense to others. Not sure if others are willing to learn from me, but I am sure learning a lot from me. As I write, I am able to get a better grasp of my own understandings and who I am. I hope this is an experience that others are finding on Mylot. Even if your own advise falls on other people's deaf ears, you can always listen and follow through with your own advise. Have a great day.

i love your input,it makes me realise a big group feels what i am feeling.now even people who have burning issues and fear sharing their issues with people have got a place to share with others,no one needs to ever feel alone in such a site.

Yes MyLot for me has helped in so many ways! It is my personal counselor. It is my place to give advice, get advice, vent and learn so many things. Without MyLot I would seriously be very depressed! Lol. I am glad for all of my friends here too. =)

LMB,thanks,thats true,we now have mylot to thank for having a free therapy session,its great,i am hooked and even felt i was missing out during my christmas holidays because i have gotten so much advise and knowledge,am just so happy for being a part of mylot family.

In a way yes it is like having a friendly counselor. I especially like getting input on a lot of things in my life. Only a stranger can give good advice because they don't know me and it is impartial!

yes i agree,its easier telling my problem to someone we never meet,that way i lay the whole problem on the table and get advised and i also get consoled.

pomwango hi welcome to mylot. You see mylot as I do and I sure do agree that at times its acted as a good shrink to m e without all that expense. So many really wonderful friends have given me ideas and helped me a nd I in turn have tried t o help wherever I could as I owe much to all my many friends here.I love your line of thought as it shows you really do appreciate mylot too. have a great mylotting day and Happy New Year to you.
