It will be an evening to remember and you are invited, but you need to help with the food. It must be a huge success when we're done! Perhaps twenty of us will be having supper? I will roast lamb in the oven, with crispy potatoes and small onions in between. Let us complete the three-course meal. What will you bring to add on?

http://www.ehow.com/how_3906_dry-apples.html You have meat, vegetables and you will need fruits so how about dried apples on the side?

Hmmm, I think that is a very good idea... After all the rich food we're going to enjoy, we should wash it away with the dried fruit. Just dried apples, or are there peaches too? Will you bring it along? Should we add custard to it?

I will bring desserts. French Apple Cobbler with vanilla ice cream and fresh whipped cream. I will also make 2 watermelon baskets filled with fruits to go nicely with Mavic's dried apples, which will go well with the pork. http://homecooking.about.com/od/garnishing1/ss/watermelonsbs.htm I hope someone brings champagne!

Tonight I'm making seared pork tenderloin, pinto beans, fried potatoes with onions and garlic, buttered noodles (just elbow mac with milk, butter and seasonings), and cornbread. Tomorrow I'm making a roast chicken, which will be brined the entire night, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, and yeast rolls. Then I'll take all the chicken off the bone, use the bones for stock, cook it all night with onions, carrots, celery, garlic, bay leaves and thyme, and I'll add some leftover chunk meat, veggies, noodles (wheat fettuccine instead of egg noodles), herbs, etc, to make chicken noodle soup. So give me 'til Friday evening and I'll have all kinds of stuff to bring!

Since our other friends are adding to the roast, I would prefer your chicken, onions, carrots, celery etc for the chicken noodle soup. Perhaps we can have that first! What about desert? Will are you bring to drink?
