My husband and I have visited many places in Denmark and we usually drive in our own car. That gives us a lot of freedom and makes it easier for us to visit the places that we choose since we don't depend on public transportation. I love to go on a road trip and visit some places in other parts of the country. It is always interesting to visit new places. We plan on going on a road trip in some of the other European countries in the future for instance the other countries in Scandinavia or the Netherlands, Beligum and Luxembourg. I think that would be really interesting.

Plublic transportations sometimes can be convenient while we can't have so much fun cuz so many people. You and your husband can have fun just two people and road trip is just so attractive to me.I can't wait to see north europe and my destination would really be those places you've mentioned.

I passed my practical driving test in 2010 so I haven't had many years as a full license driver. Last summer I booked a bungalow at a holiday camp in Cornwall for a weeks stay. I drove down there with my disabled son and my daughter. I drove to different places for days out. We went to beaches, gardens and towns. Going down there in late July I knew the roads would be ever so busy. So I got my kids up very early and left at dawn. I was fairly new to driving on the motorway. It was great to make great progress driving to the Eden Project just before it opened. We spent a few hours at the Eden Project looking at the lovely plant displays. I came to busy traffic going through the nearest town to Eden Project. Luckily then the traffic amount on the road was less. I felt tired but happy arriving at the holiday camp. Being able to drive on days out was fantastic. It was my first self drive vacation.

Ahh...sounds so fun. I think it could be very fun but it probably would take a lot of work or luck. Before driving off, we'll need to know about the roads to take, the places to eat and sleep along the way, where we would like to stop and such. The good part is the control that we have over our vacation where we can decide how long to stay at one place and when to leave.
