Long day on the ferry

It can be be pricey to live on an island because of expensive ferry costs especially if the person is taking a car with him or her. I think 100 bucks is a lot for 2 adults going on the car ferry. The Euro Star train is pricey to get from England to France or Belgium. In the past we had to travel by hover speed or slow ferry. My home country is an island but it is very close to mainland Europe. It is great you went as a foot passenger to pick your daughter up from the airport. I like traveling on a sky train and I went on one in Vancouver. Thinking of Canada four of my brother-in-laws relatives live on a rural island off Vancouver Island. I took my disabled son and daughter there in 2010. We took a ferry there from Vancouver Island to get there.

Wow!! That is unreal. I would think there would be a cheaper alternative of some sort for this, but then sometimes they feel it you want to live somewhere with luxury, you can afford to pay the price? I hope this is not something you have to do very often.

That is a really long day traveling and i hope you are up to it again tommorrow after waiting on your daughter at the airport. I guess that you are used to it since you do live on an island. Im not sure how many people go through this since this is the first or maybe second im hearing about this. Im pretty happy i dont have to do that. It takes us about 45 minutes to get to the local airport here and its not bad at all and im glad its somewhat close so friends fly in and go out with in no time.
