New foundation garments

So while I was at Walmart tonight, I got the set if 2 bras that are advertised on TV. I spent $25 on the two bras. One is beige and the other is black. It's really comfortable. I'm really glad I splurged and got this for myself. Have you spent money on yourself you really couldn't afford to, but you did it anyway because you needed it? I live these bras. They are one piece and you just slip them on over your head. The straps are like a sleeveless garment, instead of regular bra straps. I love them. Do you know the bras I am talking about? Your take?

PointlessQuestions I think good fitting comfortable bras are totally worth a splurge..you wear them daily and the comfort they bring is really priceless..so good for you for taking care of yourself!! Do you have a Ross or Marshalls or TJ Max around? I have bought many bras from esp Ross..good name brands originally costing over $20 for less than 10..but it's a matter of hit and miss. You have to keep looking as you can't always find what suits you at any of those discount stores..

Hi Stary1. No those stores aren't near me. However Belks is near us and they sometimes have good sales.

I know the ones you're talking about. My question is, how much support do they provide?

Thanks. I might get some if I can figure out whether I'll need a medium or large. I have a small frame, but triple D boobs.

They do support quite well. They have little cups inside of the bra itself. The bra fits me like a sports bra. I like it. One of the best things I like is that the straps stay in place and don't slide down my shoulder.

Of course, I know how to splurge. Although, I don't consider something such as that a "splurge," because: a) it is a necessary item and b) it is inexpensive. If you said you has picked up a couple of things from La Perla, that would be a splurge, since you could easily buy items serving the same purpose for less at many other places. My most recent splurge was some good chocolates. My boyfriend was grumbling under his breath, and I just smiled at him and said, "You love your girlfriend, right?" He stopped the grumbling pretty much, both because he loves me and because he knows that a few pieces of pricey chocolate is nothing compared to what I could do--or what his ex-wife was capable of when in a shopping mall.

For me it was a splurge because I hardly ever get me any emerging I need. I didn't like spending $25 but they are definitely worth it.

That sounds as if it was a really good purchase. Would love them too if I got them from what you tell about them. Could you pm me the brand of bra, so I could see whether we get them in Germany as well? Have a wonderful weekend......

I need new bras but can;t find a place that sells my size (most arn't ddd36). I usually get them and they are so uncomfortable that I end up giving them to good will and sticking to 1 or 2 I have. But that is cheap for a bra, I usually get them for $85.00 or up which is probably why I don't bother buying them until mine are so wore, they are useless.

I could never justify spending do much on a bra. I need to provide for my family, and $85 is groceries for a few days. I don't have any special needs in the bra department. If I did, I might think differently. I want a pair of SAS shoes. They are about $100+. The good thing is my last pair lasted over 5 years, so they were worth it.

Here if you are over a c cup size, you will be paying $85.00 (on sale) - $150.00 (regular price), even at Walmart. My last bras I paid $96.00 for 1, and it's nothing fancy by any means.
