How do you manage your responses to the comments on your started discussions if the responses poured in like a landslide? I was sad that a year back, I wasn't able to manage commenting back to one topic I posted which i received 124 responses. I was at a lost and really don't know how to find the chance to comment back especially that it was long time already hence the discussion had died down :(

Hello I think at mylot discussions never get ends. You can reply back to your repliers even now, and make that discussion live. I am sure the one who is interested in that discussion will reply back to you when they gets notifications. Like this way you can also found new replies with them you can make that discussion live again. And also it will give you earnings for your activity.

I think that's the best option I can take, reply to them one by one at least somehow, I could finish little by little. I don't want to disappoint my responders as if giving them the feeling that i ignored their comments.

Yes, No need to rush. You can go for few of them today and then later. Its no compulsory here to do all homework instantly or today. Take your time, and complete all response. Discussion can take place anytime.

Hi guys, doesn't it make you wish that Mylot will have its notification here in the site instead of or in addition to the notification we received in email. I think it will be much easier to respond if we see notifications immediately in our Home Page.. Just my thought..

Don't worry about it, it is never too late for anything, for everything. You can always go back to it at your own pace. Besides even just commenting on your discussion earns you points. :) have fun, don't worry. I'm actually amazed at how many responses you got. That's really a lot, I wish I could do that as well, you must make really good discussions. Take care, I wish you the best.

Yes you are right, it's better late than never. I will go back to that discussion even it was a year back and finish little by little to acknowledge the responses. Not everytime I can hit the interest of mylot community, but that topic hit the interest of many.

Well I'll be honest with you, I don't really remember most of the discussions I've responded too. So if somebody responds to it, and I see it on my email, that's the only time I can remember that I answered a discussion such as that. XD it's okay though, I just respond to me anyway if I can add something more to it. ;) every idea earns points after all. :) and besides maybe the people who responded to your discussion has some much better points now which they can share with each other. :D I think it's possible to bring it back to life since the discussion will draw more attention from the respondents friends. :D good luck. Happy mylotting. :D

Depends what you mean by a long time. I'm never up to date on anything here and sometimes it can take days to comment back to my responders. It really doesn't matter because a discussion never closes on this site. You could go back and respond to something that was a couple of years old if you wanted to. The thing is, if you do this, you run the chance of bringing the discussion to life again.

Yes MsTickle, I am realy happy that mylot keeps the discussions here no matter how long it has been posted giving the more chances to everybody to go back and post their comments. I would surely go back to that discussion and reply back to each comment posted.

Wow, that is a lot of comments! It could take the entire day to respond to so many people, and then you would have to check again for additional comments to them. I don't start that many discussions anymore so it's easier for me if there are a lot of responses. I spend more time responding to others than I do starting new discussions.

Hexebella, one day is probably not enough since you could easily burn out after several hours and your fingers would likely get tired. I can not remember how many posts I have ever been able to do in one day, but let's say it took 5 minutes per post - that would only be 12 per hour!

I think one day is not enough Canellita and of course you may get tired as well. My only option is to get back to them one by one, it's better late than never.

Just go on and respond to those replies one by one. It's not too late. I saw one mylotter who respond back to her old topics that she overlooked for a year or two. I knew it, because I received a notification and when I checked it's a two years old topic that she comes back to revive and respond with.

Hi Hexebella, I haven't seen you here in Mylot for quite sometime. How are you doing? I don't get many responses all the time but replying back to the responses I receive is also my issue here in mylot. Sometimes I lost interest in the topic that I started and it makes it hard t go back to that discussion again.. Other than that, all is fine with mylot. Hope you had a Happy Holidays!

Hi girl_thinking! Indeed, I stopped for some time as I got tied up with work. I was logging in and checking on topics being posted but I wasn't able to participate. now, I am happy that I can have the chance again to join this lovely community although very limited time still, but somehow i was in the loop again. I had topics that did not get much responses, i got one with zero response and one response. Could be that it did not trigger the interest of fellow mylotters, but this one was really amazing that the responses was like a landslide, however I had the difficulty to reply back to everybody that it has been a year back and I haven't responded yet to most of them. So now, I will reply back one by one so I could finish them little by little.

You must have been very happy when you receive so many responses. I would be for sure! I do imagine what you must have felt like thinking of what you can reply to all those responses! I'm sure it will be hard to respond to everybody in one sitting It would have been exhausting! It is really hard to think of a discussion that you think would interest a lot of people. Most times, I just create discussions based on what I feel or what I recently did Well, I guess that's where we all based our discussions. have a nice day!

Wow, that's interesting received 124 respond on your discussion. I am here more than 5 years already but never experience my discussion got similar to the number of poster you got. The most reponded discussion I made was only have more than 80 respond. Before, after I finished posting my discussion, I never came back to comment back but now I change it to comment back even after one week not online.

That 80 response was also amazing, it also seldom happened. It is indeed a big challenge to receive this number of response as for me, I feel guilty if I will not acknowledge each comment. The only option is to respond one by one until we finish everything.

take it easy, little by little you can leave a comment. it's never too late, if it was all done slowly then one day it can be solved. I do not make a lot of discussion, only a few have responded.

That was great. 124 responses to your discussion. It was a year but I think you can respond to them until now. If the members that had been responded to you is active right now then they could read your comment.

Yes, it was the highest response I got for all the topic I started and it has been a year that I noticed I haven't responded to everybody that I felt guilty. I started to comment back again one by one and don't know when will I finish the whole thing :( Just hoping that they all understand the situation that time constraints is the obstacle.

I'm sure my hands don't touch the entire length of each monkey-bar as I swing down the monkey-bar track, so why do each of the monkey-bars stretch across the entire width from pole to pole across the pit beneath the big-toy? On the mere chance that one of the children playing on the big toy might use a section of monkey-bar that none of the other children use, all the sections have to stay there for the children. Or maybe so that I can use that part of the monkey-bar when I return to that big-toy on that playground ... just like you or the other myLotters & I can come back to your discussion & comment on a response no one's commented-on before.

This is the reason why I don't start many discussions too often because I might not have time to reply back to those who make a response to my discussion. However, there are also times when my old discussion received response and I have to read everything again because there are times that I already forgot what I have written on that discussion. Well, anyway since most of us are busy, it is understandable also that our response won't get a reply. Have a nice day!

Sometimes when ideas are just pouring in to our head, we tend to post the discussion right away without thinking that there will be big task ahead of us to reply back and keep discussion going on. You have a good point there as well not to post much discussion than you can handle.

Wow you get 124 response! The higher record i get in some of my discussion only 38 response and it still make me hard to comment all. I just can comment 32 of the response. Some response look same so i not comment their response. I cannot comment all only in 1 day so i continue in other day.

I still have some old discussions where I didn't comment on all of the responses yet, but I regularly return to those discussions. I would like to comment on every response, that is my goal. One of my old discussions got about 60 responses and as far as remember I only commented on 3 or 4 pages of responses so far. I like to comment on old discussions, and I enjoy talking about my topics from the past. I know that it will take me a long, long time to get back to everyone, but I hope that I will catch up eventually. I appreciate every response that I get, and I would like to talk to everyone who respond.

It is good that mylot keeps the topic posted no matter how old they are and we can go back anytime at our convenience. We are very lucky to enjoy this vey awesome site.

Once I got my notifactins in my eamil about my discussion, I immediately went to the discussion to post comments backt ot eh responses. I started a discussion on Wednesday, and got 17 responses, and overnight, Wednesday, I had recived 27 more responses. It did take me awhile to comment back to all of them but I did get it done. I usually don't get all that many responses anyway, so I never have that to worry about. I am just thankful for what I do receive though, as it is better than getting no responses at all. Take care, and have fun mylotting.

I used to have no problem getting all of my discussions answered but lately I have been starting more discussions than usual so it takes me a while... I thought I would get done with them all today but I have the flu and its making it hard to think at times! Lol. As long as you get them answered eventually its okay, people understand that we have lives offline too. I take it one response at a time. It is less overwhelming that way...

That's what I am hoping that mylotters will understand if the responses get delayed.
