Many people are afraid of something new. They tend to be rooted in the things they are already used to. They are afraid or just stubborn to learn something else other than the things they already know. Do you find it true?

Some people are not to open new things. It is most common to older people, but some have the will to change and learn new information. They can be satisfied of what they have now.

Well you got some righteous idea there for old people are really critics and skeptical on the products of technology. They find traditional ways better off than those new things now.

Indeed, a lot of people are afraid of new things and trying out new stuff. It might be because they're simply not open to changes. More than their way of thinking, most people are afraid to try out something new is because of the uncertainties. If an individual haven't tried a thing before, he or she would never know it's effect. Say for example a girl had always dressed up like one who's in the county because somehow it fits her image. If she tries out something new, she would never know whether it would look good on her or whether people around her would accept her new image.

I do believe that the source of being afraid in trying something new is being stubborn to do things outside of the box. These people would rather stick to their old ways or old things rather than experience something new. They never realize that wanting to try something new could actually make them more knowledgeable of things around them.

i don't think that people are afraid of new things, as much as they are of change. moreover, people are afraid of the uncertainty of change. when i get comfortable in something, change is hard for me to. it's not so much that i am afraid of new things.
