Hello Friends Yesterday I was discussing on one discussion related to article writing. On that time one question struck on my mind. Let me ask it to you all. Suppose I have published a discussion on one site. Now after one or two week, I decide to delete it from that site(of course only if we have that option available).. Now can we republish same article again on some other site which only allow fresh content? I mean now that article is no where on the internet as I have deleted it, so can we reuse it? About my experience, I have done it once and successfully republished those same articles on other site which only accept fresh content. But I had waited till Google search engine completely remove those search results for that content in the first site, then I went for republishing. But can we do same thing for all site?! What do you think about it? Is this allowed or what?

I think it is okay to republish the article you have totally delete from everywhere. After all that article was written by you, if there is no any copies that can be "New". But I have a interesting question to ask you. If a article is super famous and it attract many people to read it as soon as it post. The article was so interesting that almost everyone remember it but no one try to copy it. After a few minutes, the publisher delete the article totally. Can you say it is NEW? Everybody has read it but no copies left. It's hard to define what "New Article" is. Just follow your mind.

Ha ha.. That's where I am confused too.. Article is no where published currently , but yes it may be published in the past. How can site know about that thing? So how can they completely assure that submitted article is fresh one or not?

Even if you delete it the cache remains on the net.

Hi akp, I am not sure if this is possible on all article sites because I see it, once published and live it is a published article but if there is no trace of it and no one is going to show your old published article link it is fine...Someone may have printed out your article because they were interested and if it becomes known it can be a legal issue.I am of course looking at all the possibilities...all the best and have a nice weekend

Hi Kiran.. Yes that may be possible. But I don't think it can create any issue, I mean even if person is printed that article , he/she is not going to that another site just to complain about that this article is already published before on other site. Right?! And the site on which we are publishing something is not giving such rules that we can't use the same content on other site if other site allowed, of course this is not same for every site.

It may be better to take it individually since some sites are very strict about such things and even a small hint here and there can create problems for the members. So, all said and done I feel that it is better to ask the admin before uploading any such content so that you are in the clear and will also have no worries...

Well, Yes that can create problem for sure, that's why I started this discussion for more detail. And also in my case , I have published those deleted articles on site which already allow republishing our published work. So may be that's why they did accept my work.

If the manager of the site is human, yes it is allowed. If it's managed automatically (as most are), then you need to do it like you did once before.

I hope every site handling by such human only.. Well, I am not going to try anything now. As not every site allow us to delete our published work. And yes on sites where I am active is doing fine for me so no problem.

Some sites allow that but some other sites object to that because even if you delete your content it never gets deleted completely but leaves its signs in form of caches.

It's simple to find out, delete any content and then paste any of the part of it in search bar, you will see it still there on the net in form of cache. Try it now. Cheers.

I am not sure because I can see some of my data that I deleted three years before still appearing on the net when I try to search those. I had an account at hub pages which I deleted in 2010 after deleting my articles but when I post any of the content in search bar I can still see it despite I am not using the same laptop any more. However the issue maybe different in your case. Or send me any part of that article I shall give you exact location where your article was published. Try it. Cheers.

I think this is better understand in the article writing site.If they give permission about it,then you can go for it.I have read somewhere in an article writing site, don't know exactly the name, but according to their terms and conditions, one can republish it after deletting from the first one as you have mentioned in your post.

Hello There are sites with such conditions too!? I didn't know about it. I thought there were two type of sites, one is accept only fresh content, and other allow republishing users own work. But I didn't know that some sites also there which allow publishing work from other place after deleting them completely.

It depends on the guidelines my friend. If you think that you're not violating any rules then you can do it. Just make sure to read and review the site's guidelines. Have a nice day and happy mylotting! :)

Hi Sureoi Yes I know it depends on guideline. I mean that's what I am asking. Suppose some site allows only fresh content. So can we use content which may already published in the past, but deleted after it. So for now it is not where published. So whether it will called fresh content or not?

If your content is well known and many users are using it, well, you could be reported for that but if it is old and not so known then you can give it a try.

HI AKP i would think it would be okay as t would be fresh to a new site. How would they know they had had it published then you had deleted it. That would leave no record so I think you are safe

Hi Hatley Yes even I thinks the same. That new site shouldn't get any problem as content will be fresh and not online currently. WEll, I am not interested in deleting any of my stuff right now. I was just asking it as that subject came in my mind during other discussion..And thanks to you all I got good information on this subject.

Honestly speaking, this is risky business for me and I will hardly try it. I mean, it would not be wise to risk an entire account in a site just for getting those discussions going. In my opinion, it would be good if you stay away from it. I never done it and will never do it either. It is the first time that the thought struck me about what you said. I hope you will take the correct decision.

Anand, as you mentioned you deleted the article already and it is nowhere in online, so you can republish it again if the site allows republishing articles. I am not interested in deleting articles, i will edit article, but till today i don't delete any of my article in any site

VP.. Well if sites allow republishing our own work, then we don't need to delete them, we can use it on those sites without deleting anything. Well, even I am not interested in deleting my stuff, but once I had to do it as I wasn't using that site anymore, so after week from publishing I did delete them and use on other site.
