hi, for me they are both good, because for a business minded person should have an experience to work in some other company before they will start their own business so that they have an idea how they will work for their business.then if they well know it that's the time for them to start a business.

Depends on how you feel about the job offer. If the job offer weighs more, then go for it. If the existing small business is what you feel is something you can work on to make better, then go for it. Listen to your feelings about each.

Haha, you are so lucky to have the chance to chose what you will do eventrally, business and job have their own advantages and disadvantages. If you deal a business, you will have more chance to show your talent in your career, your ability can mostly be brought into paly, but as a boss, you have much more tihings to concern and more challenges to face, all of these occupy you much life time;If you go to job,you must listen to your boss, sometimes it may restrict your development, your own idea can't be used as effectivlly as a boss, but as a staff, you don't need to share the firm's challenges, you will have more time to enjoy life.so what life you want will gives you this answer!

Me personally would go with the job position until I could get enough experience, to run my own business. Here a business needs a large sum of money to start it up and keep it going. This determines whether the business floats, or sinks.

Hello Tushavi! I guess it depends on the person with what is important to them and how successful they want to be. Personally, right now I just want a job to start making money and maybe later on, I would like to have my own business. Having a business is not my main goal in life and doesn't matter to me all that much. As long as I am well off enough to pay my bills and live in a nice house then I am fine with that. See how it goes I guess. Happy MyLotting. ~AussieGal~

That would depend on the individual. For me, a job is better because I'm too lazy to get a business started; but when I had a job, I was diligent in performing my duties. There are so many responsibilities in owning a business. Some people enjoy that. I would not.

I don't honestly believe that there is a single right or wrong answer to the question that you've asked here. Instead, I think that the answer to the question really depends on the person to whom the question is asked. For example, for me, I feel that a business is better than a job because in that way I am able to be my own boss and I am also able to be a parent as well. I have the discipline that is necessary to be my own boss whereas there are a lot of people that don't have that kind of discipline and therefore it is much better for them to work for other people.

It is always good to be your own boss. I'd worked for many years as a teacher and have come to realize that I must have wasted my time there. I am now into my own business, small it is, but I don't have much pressure, I am my own boss, I own my time, and there is no limit to what I can do because no one owns my time. It is up to you. If you want to be somebody's worker, then do it. Or you can decide to learn your father's business and make it grow rather than making other people's business grow. After all, it's your family business. Therefore, it is your business.

I think this would depend on your personal preferences. And even if you toil for your own business or work for someone else hard work is still essential if you want your business to succeed or be appreciated if working for someone else.

what is your finance situation now ? if you have to support your family, then i would suggest you can put personal business later .not all business will bring a lot of money for you,you have to take risks, you must prepare enough for all of this. however,if you do not any problems,in one's career,it's better to choose business,no matter what happend in the end,at least you tried.

The requirement for being a GOOD employee is different from being a GOOD business owner. If you are an employee, you are just needed to do the job you are assigned to, and then you will be paid your salary. If you are a business owner, you must make sure that your workers do their job and do it well. And then you must think of ways how to make your business grow if it is already stable enough. You also have to make sure that your cash flow is enough to cater to the needs to pay the bills. So the requirement is different for a mere worker and a business owner. It depends on your skill, aptitude and personality whether you have the right stuff to succeed in business.

Hi Tushavi, The good thing about going into business is that you are the boss of your own company, you don't need to obey someone else's rules and "time" is in your hands to control. however, venturing into business is a risk that if you're going to take it you have to be prepared of the worst that might happen, because you never know if it will succeed or not. Unlike being an employee to a certain company, you are sure already that you're going to get the salary at a specific date. But if you're going to ask me, i would want to venture into business. i know that it will take a lot of skill, patience and effort to make it a successful one, but i'm sure it will be fruitful and you'll be happy when it happens. if you are thinking on going into business then i suggest you to try it out, because you might end up regretting it on the latter part, but the choice is still up to you. always stay positive and Happy Mylotting!

It depends on the economy of a certain country. If the business is viable to have it, then well and good. Prior to having the venture, you can conduct a feasibility study.

you should have them both. you have a job and otherwise you have a business. Double income is better this days life is harder now. Job is not enough sometimes to meet our needs.

I think if you can have both, it will be more advantageous for yourself especially for your family. Running a business is like gambling, you are not sure of the earnings. Some days it's good and maybe on other days it's not. If your business does not do the way you have expected it than you still have a job to fall to, where you have your regular salary.

It all depends on you.Having a government job is considered to be the best option, because you safe there. You will not have to face redundancy. If you are employed in any company, you will be paid a fixed salary every month no matter whether the company is at a loss or profit. On the other hand, business has its ups nd downs. If you have the courage to suffer losses, then you should opt for business. My brother in law was a high school teacher. He could start a business of his own,but didn't have the guts to bear the fluctuations in the market. Both business and job have their plus and minus points. It depends on you what you really are inclined to do.However businessman earn more.

Business is a better than job. But if you feel that your business is not growing, search for a job.

In my personal opinion, before making the decision shoud taken an overall consideration, including your interest, physical condition, character extroverted or introverted, family care needs, the level of knowledge about business, prospect of job. I also get a fixed salary now, but it is low-income and tired, without futures and without freedom. my mind had crossed the idea of doing business, but I don't have the courage to resign. However,I am very admire that people to start their own businesses. To be your own boss is to worry about something more, but will be more independent.Hope you have a good start!

I think it depends on the personality, person who is by nature wants to explore different dimension of life is more likely to choose business. Because doing business involves uncertainty, being selfless person (to be great leader),deal with different belief systems( i,e human mind). And also business suits the adage of "More risk more returns".
