He should be killed...

Most of us have heard about the horrible and unfortunate gang rape that happened in Delhi on 16th, there are so many people with their own opinion, I've read so many articles on this topic and I always felt that these criminals should be killed but today I read this article on Yahoo and I've no words to explain how and what I feel. http://in.news.yahoo.com/delhi-rape--juvenile-rapist-could-walk-free-in-months-142736088.html Why after knowing all this, our government is not killing these people? How and why can someone torture an innocent girl to that extent? It seems our government is in place only for eating our tax money..I hate the law if it protects such criminals..

Following the rules of Juvenile law- maybe this little ev*l can escape from his crime. I hope his conscience will kill him for what he did... He's almost 18 years and what he did is not an act of innocence....

This is a lame excuse to escape from the punishment. Even though the boy is a minor, but his activity is not like that, in that article it clearly mentioned that he tortured that girl a lot. So he is the first person who deserved for the punishment.

Entire country is in this trauma since more than a week. It feels really really sad and things like this always upsets. When there are too many crimes and to handle such situations we run to such people who have done several countless mistakes in their lives. I think we are running towards a well to jump and die. They say we choose our Government and we blame them. But we choose them with a hope, we choose them thinking that they will surely bring some change in the society. All are equally same the educated and the non educated. It is just that we none of us want to take any initiative. When a girl stands up to defend herself or anything she knows how bad those consequences will be for her. When a man stands up to do something he will be killed or his family will be tortured. Who does not want to be true? but due to bunch of very few sick and dirty minded people our countries today are suffering with such happenings. There are debates going on with the high legal authority people, the friend who was with her is being constantly tortured by media to come and give interview on television. But what about the once who did that? they are just brought near the television for sometime wearing thick sweaters to prevent dying from cold. I just hate to even comment on things where there is no hope of light.

Hi Archie0, Yes, you are right. Even for a basic job role of 5K per month, they'll ask you for your educational background, however, if you have to handle the country or the state, they'll ask you about your criminal background, that's how sad things have become in India. I'd read about this case before but this article which I've mentioned here has really left me speechless. I really feel that it's the time for us to be united and save ourselves and our families by taking initiatives..it's really horrible time for our country

Wow how can justice system sometimes be so unfair? I could not believe he still is a juvenile.. okay, maybe by age he is... but through his way of thinking and actions - he is no longer a juvenile. And he must be put behind bars. I am not asking him to be killed but at least be imprisoned forever. He does not deserved to be out there in the street and do another heinous crime. He must pay for what he did to the poor young lady.

Maria, that's not everything that we've got here. In this society, the more helpless you are the better chances of you being subjected to such crimes. Here is a news in Mumbai where a mute and deaf girl has been raped, they say one should not wear provocative clothes but if that is the reason then why this girl: Until unless we brutally torture the accused, things will be like this in this society: http://in.news.yahoo.com/disabled-minor-raped-mumbai-one-held-154208836.html

there will come a time that the citizens themselves will put the law in their own hands, it happened in some countries, a vigilante group was organized that goes after those people, i am against those though, but where else can a society go if they cannot depend from their government tom protect them

Hi Pen_Pal, Yes, you are right, with this kind of situation in society, people will have take things in their own hands. If you've read the article which I've mentioned in this discussion, I'm sure, you'll also feel that they should be punished beyond the limits, however, our government is still doing the formality and they plan to feed these monsters for 30 years.
