Do people care somebody's feeling?

I used to walk from work to home since I live near at my workplace. Undisciplined car owners tend to park their car everywhere as long as there's a vacant place. While walking, suddenly car door open and I was totally unaware and I was hit. Though its not that hard but the pain lingers for a few minutes. The sad part was, the driver or anyone who opened the door never came out to say something. The mirror was tinted and I can't see whose inside. After I was hit, I really look at the door waiting for someone to come out but what he did was he closed back the door and keep silent. If this happen to you mylotters, what you gonna do? and what's the best thing to do? I just thought while writing this that why never came out to my mind to check the plate# for him to get alarmed that I might report it to the authorities. Out of the blue, this happened to me and I never really expect it. What a bad day.

Hi jenith Yeah some people behave like that they don't even care of other feelings or don't even try to know whether the opposite person is hurt or not they just try to hide /don't even care. If it was me in the car i would at least come out to check whether my door is fine or not strangely that car person did not even do that. I am sorry for what had happened to you forget it and just chill my friend .

I'm just thinking that maybe he got scared too that's why he keep silent inside. But, still it's his fault so why bother to hide. He needs to show up and say something.

A kind of. I don't know what happened to our society now. Even how hard you try to be happy and think positive, there's always a time when someone out of the blue turns it into a bad one.

As for me,I will memorize the this car plate number first and knock the car's door,if he/she do not willing to open the door then I will report to the relate bureau, this kind of people need the punishment,or they will never change their arrogant attitude.

Sometimes we need to think twice too thinking the incident happened at 6:10pm. If there's a policeman nearby, maybe I can ask for help. Good thing I did not make any move that would allow him to do what he wants from me.

Human beings nowadays have become so alienated from each other, that they have forgotten even the most basic of courtesies. They now live in a protected cocoon of their own society, and if anyone else from the "outer world" is hampered by them, intentionally or unintentionally, they don't bother to apologize. They feel that they are too superior to them to stoop so low. Such self-righteous humans are becoming more numerous. They are the type of people who have suddenly acquired a comparatively greater wealth than the common man, and so consider themselves to be part of a higher society than the rest. As for what I would do if this happens to me, I would promptly rap the window of the car, tinted or not, and ask the owner to step forth and apologize for being such a short-sighted person that he couldn't bother to see who was coming from behind before opening the door. If that still didn't evoke a response from within, I would do just what you yourself said: I would say aloud that I better report this incident to the authorities and make for the rear of the car to note down the plate#.

Well said Abhi! It's just fine to do that in your case coz you are a guy. But, after reading the previous comment, I think it was done intentionally. If it was not, then for sure he would say sorry to think that not all people can afford to have car. Most of them are professional too not unless he has another plan.

for sure they do ,but at times people become so selfish and are only worried about them and play scamsters and trickster to get rid of others and making others fall prey to their tricks and its more disastrous

I never thought of this. If it's a kind of trick then he was very unlucky coz I didn't say nor do anything. Thanks to GOD for giving me more patience.

well freind after reading your article's detail. One thing is clear that the car owner was in hurry thats why this incident happened but as it happened in a sudden to both of you he was afraid for coming out because he might afraid of being caught by police or might be afraid from your anger so my friend if would be inplace of you i would go to him and would teach him not to be in hurry

He is not in hurry for sure. Why? He parked his car in a sidewalk in opposite direction to the hi-way.

That's should be the right thing you do in order for the one who's in the car to know his lesson. You should gotten the plate number of that car and report it to the authority. No one has the right being rude at the road even he has a car.

Getting the plate number would be the best thing to do. If he is a bad guy then I'd rather be hurt a little than to be a victim. Maybe it's his modus to think that it happened during the feast of Jesus of Nazarene and it was near the church.

I usually will separate people into different groups. To the one in the loved group, I will take their feeling into condiser. To the one in the dislike group, I will tell them what I really think without thinking about how they will feel. I do not want to protect nice to everyone and I do not perspect to be loved by everyone. I hope I can live as I want to live and be happy.

That's what they normally called "mutual feeling", I guess. We can be nice if someone treats us nicely but we can be rude too for those inhuman behavior. This is just shows that you are normal. It's hard to put the heartaches aside and hatred & anger lingers eventually. Then, if given a chance find revenge.

Wow! That is incredibly rude! Did you get his plate numbers? Perhaps you should report him. What a sad state of people we have today.

Really Wow! REally rude too! I don't know what happened to me that time. Never take any action at all. My mind was so busy thinking my son since I left him at home while working. A lesson for me. Can't erase this incident from my mind. TOo bad.

If somebody falls and gets hurt this is considered a crime in my home country Holland. Here in the Philippines I noticed people park their car everywhere they can and the police NEVER gives them a fine. So I don't even know what they would do if you reported this person. And yet here's me and my big mouth: I'd say "Excuse me! Can't you look before opening your door??"

Same here in my country. It's still consider a crime. The only difference is everything can be buy here. Just name it, human life, law, anything. That's one of the main responsibilities of Policemen but if anyone caught, you just show your money or put your money in your driver's license and once the policeman open and saw the money, they would let you go without saying anything. Unlike in other countries that incident like mine happened and no actions made, the victim would find a lawyer and file a case. I really wanted to but as what I said earlier you are powerful here if you have money. Maybe, that's the best thing that I can do during that time by saying "Hello, I'm here, would you mind to take a look before opening your fuc_ _ _ _ door?" What if he would say, "I don't care!". Still nothing. I'm just wasting my time talking to his kind of idiots.

If I were you, I will knock on the window and ask the driver to get out and apologise for me, it is his or her fault to hit others, he or she will be responsible for the behaviors.

Some people don't really care about the feelings of others. It's up to us if we don't want any conflict. I always understand them as much as I can just to evade conflicts. Have a nice day and happy mylotting! :)

Conflict sometimes can be a challenge to each of us. I'm not saying that you go and find conflict to anyone it's just that, as human we need to exert our rights so no one could hurt us for being rude, undisciplined and acted like they are animals.
