Keep at it! there are so many fun things that you can do once you have the basic steps down. I've made a lot of cute scarfs and hats, with different patterns, and I'm sure there's lots of things you'll enjoy making too.

What else have you made since you've posted? I recomend watching videos on youtube as well. The Art of Crochet by Teresa is a good one she also goes by another name of Crochet Geek on there too. It does take some practice and there's always a new pattern, new sitch or new fiber to learn. Have Fun!

That sound really cool. I have heard that crocheting is difficult, actually. But I am glad that you are getting the hang of it! That is a cool hobby to have. Perhaps you could work on birthday or Christmas presents for other people - that would be awesome. Best of luck to you!

You mean you learn everything from Youtube? That is great! This shows that you are very motivated to learn, and you are a very quick learner. I still prefer to learn in a classroom environment with teacher to guide all of us. it seems more fun to learn and make mistake together.

Crocheting is really hard. But if you get the hang of it. It will be very easy for yo. But sometimes it will be a little boring especially if you are working on a huge one. I love crocheting. My aunt taught me how to. And I have also earn some money from it. I made and sell baby shoes, hats and headbands before. A lot of people loved crocheted stuff. So keep practicing maybe someday you'll earn from it too. :)

I started crocheting when I was nine years old. Just making little things. Then schooling and growing up took precedence and I didn't pick it up again until I was an adult. Now I've been doing it for many years. I've learned to make anything. I made a black sheath dress that I sold for several dollars back in the 80's. I have a closet full of completed projects that I need to get rid of. Everything from hats and scarves to baby layettes and adult sweaters. It just takes practice. Keep at it and you can become an expert.
