I am wanting to be healthier and was thinking about buying a juicer. Has anyone tried juicing? Does it really make you feel better and have more energy? What are your favorite juice recipes?

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i am glad to know that u are health conscious and hence it is quite evident to have queries regarding juicer and all. Well juicer is a great and effective way to make juices of your own choice and take it so that it will keep u fit, fresh and healthy. i love having apple and strawberry juice and they are nutritious and healthy for our body also. What say?

The apples with strawberries sound very yummy. I was looking to see how I could incorporate veggies into juicing too.

i love juices too. i am fond of calamansi juice and would love to prepare itwith lots of water and ice. it has many benefits. it's part of my detox since i am fond of eating meat and high carb foods. according to some studies, when rubbed on insect bites, the juice will relieve the itching.

I have never heard of calamansi juice. What does it consist of? I also am guilty of eating protein and carbs.

I have wanted to try one too but I am afraid that I would only use it a few times and wouldn't get my moneys worth. Juice is so expensive now a days and I know that fruit is becoming more expensive too. I love plain old orange juice. One of my favs. If you get one, I'd love to know how you're doing with it!

I bought a new juicer a week ago. I got a good bargain at 50 percent off. It is a very good brand. It's Philips brand and I am so satisfied. Yes, I do feel better when I drink all natural fruit or vegetable juice. My favorite is apple and carrot juice, also cucumber with lemon and raw honey. You should invest in a good juicer if you want to keep yourself healthy. You may try Jack Lalaine fruit juicer which is readily available in your place.

I have an AEG juicer and before that I had a Champion brand. They're both expensive but do a great job and last years and don't leak, have stronger motors so you can juice carrots and harder veggies with ease. I really carrot juice with apples added in. Sweet potatoe juice sounds weird, but it too is really good. You can find all sorts of free juice recipies online. Celery is a veggie you can add that add a lighter flavor that mixes well with fruit. Watermelon juice is a family fav here, its so easy and refreshing.

I have always wanted to get one but know that I won't use it that much I would rather eat the foods then juice. I suppose if I ever loose my teeth then I will want to juice all of the time.

Juicer will throw out the fiber, if you are looking for some nutritional drink which can easily absorbsed you can choose juicer, but for me I just stick to blender because I want the fiber. Especially I think the juicer throw out a lot of vitamins and mineral which there in fiber which getting thrown up.
