for people who don't know yet grace poe llamazares, the daughter of susan roces and the late FPJ is running for the senate this 2013 elections. she'll be endorsed by both the UNA and the administration party so i guess she'll get a lot of exposure and a higher chance of winning. but i was just disappointed with her political ad where she used the tag line "anak ni FPJ" (daughter of FPJ). without using that phrase, i bet people already know she's the daughter of FPJ. i wish she could have used the ad to promote her own advocacies and intentions rather than use the name of her late father.

Well I guess that is how things go in politics nowadays. I do not know if these new faces sprouting here and there would be able to survive the election unless they would introduce themselves as related to their parents or someone who have established in politics already. That is sad reality in our politics but I guess we just have to vote for the best that we can from the available list provided for us by Comelec.

Sometimes it all depends on the campaign manager's strategy that she depends on. I think this is his manager's plan using the name of FPJ. I think you can see that in many other candidates running like the one of Angara & Enrile as well. They would always put the name or face of their father just to boost their names.

i have high expectations from her since her family cries for change especially during the arroyo administration. i just wish she would have a new political strategy that would not use his father's name in vain.

well, everyone can join politics. we're a free country. actually, when i checked in profile in wikipedia, she has a degree in political science from boston college. so she's really not ignorant.

If she didn't have that famous last name, do you think she's consider running? or even supported by two political parties and even win? She's not ignorant and certainly capable but if she doesn't have good backing, she already lost the race even before it began.

Filipinos tend to have an easy recollection of a famous person rather than the not known figure. i just hope filipinos would rather see her advocacies rather than the daughter of fpj.

Hello Iluvusabado, Well this is Politics indeed, they all have the right to run for candidacy and the people aren't as stupid as it was before. how ever, majority of us don't have internet and only depends on his parent's icon names. but what's really disappointing to me was Gordon running along with the nemesis Mitos Magsaysay. where he should have just run under his bagumbayan party, which i believed he just threw away for being part of the band wagon too.

Hi I know Lovi Poe I am watching her present teleserye in GMA must say you have a good opinion.I think he no longer need to used her father's name as she already known as daughter of FPJ.that was published already and she already told that when she is knew to Showbiz and shes used this as her stepping stone being a daughter of FPJ to be known to people. She must make her own signature. and believe to herself.

She will be using that tag line until the day of election. If not, she will have a less chances of winning in the senatorial race. Politics here in our country is merely based in popularity. But we must not judge her right away. Maybe she have a good plan why he ran for congress. Good luck to "anak ni FPJ"!!!

i was also surprised when she ran. i think she was doing great in mtrcb. i think she should have waited for some time before running.
