I read a news report that Lance Armstrong, the controversial cycling legend who was recently stripped off his Tour de France titles, has admitted to doping on Oprah Winfrey's Show. The interview is to be aired on 17th January. If it turns out to be true, how will your thinking for him change? For me, he might be a fallen hero but the things he has been doing for over a decade through Livestrong is really commendable. I would still have respect for him, even though he admits to doping in a time when everyone in the cycling doped. Nothing personal but would love to hear the opinion of the very knowledgeable community here.

Lance Armstrong was a hero and a role model for winning those 7 Tour de frnace races. Now we know Armstrong is a cheater and a liar. Lance Armstrong is a disgrace to the cycling world and all sports. Cheating is wrong and stupid. Armstrong is not a role model to anyone to look up to. He even disgraced Livestrong! Armstrong should be a shamed of himself! He is a true loser!

Its true that he cheated and there should not be any place for a cheater in any sport, anywhere. However, the time during which he cheated was the time when everyone in cycling was cheating. So in a way, everyone was on a level playing field, isn't it?
