You are funny nicanorr. You are trying to bluff people by asking how does it look, when in fact your new profile picture is the coconut tree! AT any rate, the coconut tree is very useful from its tree to its, leaves , to its fruit. It's the most versatile tree indeed. I need not elaborate because i know you know how they are being used from its tree to its fruit, nicanorr.

Hi SIMPLYD, thanks for the notice. I'm not bluffing; I'm just helping users practice their English through the medium of well-known objects like a coconut tree. I'm also trying to solicite comments from foreigners to know if coconuts is known at their end.

hi simplyd, i was thinking the same. Why is he asking if how does a coconut look when he is using this as his profile pic and discovering that he is from the Philippines if is unbelievable that he hasn't seen one and know its uses and benefits. I think it's his way of promoting some of our pride

The coconut tree is known as the TREE OF LIFE coz every part of it has use. Surely I have seen a lot of them. We once had a tree right in our own backyard. The coconut tree plays an important part in every Filipino's life. Some Filipinos live in houses that are all-coconut. Meaning... from the chairs to roof to the furniture to the plates to the wall to the beds to the stairs to the windows... all crafted from the Tree of Life. Toothpicks, medicines, oils... the coconut can provide it all. The Philippines, after all, is one of the world's top producers of coconut products.

Hi, When we were living in Alibag (city in Maharashtra state, India) there were many coconut trees. Coconut trees are grown in coastal areas. Every part of coconut tree is useful. We prepare many delicious dishes from coconut fruit. the leaves of coconut are used for making brooms, they can be used in rainy season for spreading on roofs, its stem parts are used for making ropes, it is also used for the drainage of water in rainy season because its stem is hollow. There are many more uses of this tree.
