Do you guys find it easy to respond sincerely to discussions here on MyLot? Some people think that there are those who just whimsically respond to discussions, with no real thought, so they can make some quick money. I find it hard to actually read people's posts and not sincerely give them my opinion or response. Are all your responses genuine? Does MyLot engulf you once you start responding?

I only respond to discussions that I can relate to, or have some experience to share, so yeah, I guess they're genuine. Some posts do seem like that, but we also have to consider that sometimes, some people find it hard to express themselves in English because this is not their main language. But of course, we try to actually see what they really try to say. If not, we can always ask and that would make a good start for a discussion/conversation.

You're so right. In some discussions it is clearly evident that English is not that person's first language. Nevertheless, of course it doesn't mean that they don't have something meaningful to say. So if I can read it and get a grasp of the message, I'll respond as long as I can do so genuinely.

Yes, I find it easy to respond sincerely here as suppose to making things up. I do get into some 'fun' discussions sometimes too when my posts would probably seem playful, yet it'd still be sincere.

Isn't it great how you can be truly concerned one minute and playful and humorous the next on this site. And it's all with real people. It's like you can see people for who they are on here. They share so much of themselves that you can actually get a hold of their personality.

I have no problem in responding here. I am always sincere in my responses which some times may not be in line with what the OP thinks but that I am sure makes a discussion interesting.

I am definitely sincere. I don't try to cater to the poster. I do try to be understanding and yet not rude.

Oh yes my responses are most definitely genuine. I would not be able to respond any other way except sincerely. I get too emotionally incolved at times. Thats just me and the way I am though. I would rather be like this rather than not caring at all.

Hi jalucia There are many kinds of responding ,come to the point it is hard to reply some times because in my view we have to suggest our friends in a genuine way rather than looking to give response blindly . Sometimes our friends will ask for solutions for that we can't give blind answer we have to think before responding , If i have no idea about the issue i simply don't respond .Most of them gives genuine replies according to my view .It depends on persons opinion and thinking .

Right. If I am totally clueless, there's nothing for me to say. And I do think that most people on here are sincere in their responses. I think that most of us want to share ourselves with the other people on here.

I know I respond the discussions sincerely. If I see a discussion which doesn't interest me, I will pass and go on looking at the other discussions. I feel it's difficult to answer a discussion that I don't like.

Yes. It is much easier to be sincere than to be fake and phoney. And thank you for responding to my discussion. It's nice to know that others feel this is a genuine place to share. It's good to be a part of this kind of community.

Hi jalucia, when reading an interesting discussion, there must be some feeling and idea coming out unconsciously. I then would type it out without any hesitation. It's my my authentic post of course. If seeing any friends there may I would like to share my opinion there or type joking sentences to have fun Happy posting

all my responses are indeed genuine ones and i do not respond to any discussion just for the sake of it. here we don't get paid for just typing something, you only get paid when you post quality content. you get paid for what you type, but more quality, more money. When i am in no mood, i just go offline and do not respond. Basically i do not do work when i just can't really do it. I don't force myself on doing things. That only kills me.

Right. It's like torture for me when I do something that I really don't want to do. So some posts I can't even read all of or respond to because I don't get it or am totally not into that discussion at that time. I will move on to something that is of interest of me rather than think I just wasted five seconds of my time reading that, let me at least respond so I can make some money for that.

A statement of a person should reflect the empathy, depending on what condition. It is not always the case, the sincerity will come along for not being dictated by other people. The choice of knowing the things to believed in and the rest will come along smoothly. Some people might be perfectionist, may feel furious over something that will not meet their expectations. If that's the reason, you are controlling someone just to please yourself.
