Strange Dream(s) Alert

I've had two strange dreams this week (but not on the same night) and I can't remember the whole dreams, only the weird snippets. Let me know what you think of them. The first dream concerned our lovely Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. Now, all I remember about this dream was being part of a massive crowd of people outside Buckingham Palace, presumably celebrating her Diamond Jubilee (which was last year) lol. I remember it was an expectant crowd - as though they were waiting for someTHING, not someONE to appear or (in this case) thrown from the balcony. Sure enough, the Queen appeared, on her own, with a roll of silk under her arm. The people below went mad at this point, then she THREW the roll of silk into the crowd. By this time the roll had unfurled, spreading out over the people but someone was savvy enough to collect it and roll it back up again, therefore claiming it as theirs. More cheers. The Queen went back inside and brought out another roll of silk. I remember the colour this time, it was a fabulous turquoise shade. THIS time I caught the material once it unfurled amongst the crowd. I remember inspecting it, thinking, 'This is really important I have this' but I have no idea what it was for, I was just EXTREMELY happy to have caught it and - more importantly, so was everyone else around me. There were no people trying to take it off me. They were as happy FOR me as I was. The second dream is weirder still as it concerns being on one of those older buses with two levels. The main thing I remember about it is having to go upstairs in order to wee, but it wasn't on a conventional toilet but a special seat where I just sat there and peed myself. No-one was bothered either, it was 'normal' and I remember being relieved to get not one, but two wees out of the way, just as the bus parked up at its final destination. This involved going up the stairs of course..twice. Yes, I told you the dreams were weird! The turquoise silk intrigues me somewhat as I've been looking online at all types and shades of console table, turquoise being amongst them. As for the weeing incident..well, I do have that Pelvic Ultrasound on Saturday and I have to drink 2 PINTS of water beforehand. I guess I have to make time so I drink the water at the last minute before leaving the house, otherwise I may want a wee whilst in the waiting room. Then I would have to wait longer if I had to drink more water there, rather than here. Hope that makes sense!!

My whole life seems to be a peculiar dream at the moment. And the less said about wee, the better!

I like dreams, I write mine down, if I can remember them, and in the process of doing that I begin to understand what they are about. Obviously I can't, in any meaningful way, interpret your dreams. but when you get the silk from the queen, what seems to be really important is that everyone around you is pleased for you. that almost seems to me to be about the chandelier, though I am only guessing, have you found that everyone is pleased that you got it, and that you like it, and was that what you expected, or has it surprised you? and on the second dream, on the bus, and remember I am only guessing, I think the key thing is that you felt that it was normal. so my guess, again, on this, is that it probably is related to your medical issues, but the most important thing for you is feeling that people accept its normal. I'm only guessing, but I think how we feel in dreams are important, as the things and people in them are symbols, possibly representing other something in real life, whereas how we feel is genuine. that is just my extremely unreliable attempt at interpreting your dreams, and you can completely ignore them.

I'm not going to ignore you..NEVER! What you said is interesting, actually, although the chandelier isn't actually up yet. However, it will be on Saturday when my FIL will come to sort it out for us..so, maybe, HE will be full of praise for my choice? Put it this way, it's better than his plastic job in the living-room lol. My impending visit to the hospital isn't worrying me either. Normally, I would get all anxious about it but I'm choosing to stay calm. Not worth worrying over something that's not an invasive procedure anyway. Could the silk represent new bedding, perhaps? I've got a thing about British made bedding but, unfortunately, it costs a lot of money. Perhaps I find a bargain through surfing my many hours online lol.

Mmm, how interesting. Many thanks for your input, it's appreciated my friend.

the other possibility I thought of was that the silk could represent creativity, as a lot of the things you are doing in your home are very creative. whereas in our society there are quite a lot of pressures forcing us to conform, and not be creative, so the silk could represent being creative in decorating your home. then the second dream could be just about breaking free from the social pressures we are all under to conform, in some way. but that's just another theory.

You are quite remarkable to remember them so vividly my friend, usually dreams can be so easily forgotten and the finer points seem to elude us when we try to recollect the full dream, and to be honest after all what you've been through recently is it any wonder why you've been having these strange dreams. Dreams are about processing stuff, and what with the disappointing visit with your doctor.

I dream all the time but I don't remember all of them, so to remember even some of a dream is an achievement, believe me. As for John, he's had a temporary crown fitted but will have a permanent one done at some point..after another check up in about 2 weeks time. Thanks for asking!

I dream about weeing A LOT and I've er..got caught out in bed before now. Not lately though. Yes, I did feel lucky when the Queen chucked some silk at me. I have been reading about her presents she got last year but, crucially, she's not allowed to give any of them away or to sell them on. She must have a MASSIVE loft!!

Obviously, these are the things that have been on your mind as of late--decorating and your pelvic ultrasound. Our minds have strange ways of, as we sleep, working through the things that concern us. I don't know where the monarch fits into all of this, but it is pretty clear that you are likely favoring the turquoise. Perhaps, on some level, you associate it with the queen. Maybe, she once wore a fantastic hat in that color or something, and it has stuck with you on a subconscious level. Of course, that is just a wild guess on my part.

Yes, as she gets older she's becoming more like her Mum..I've lost count of the different colours she's worn over the years and every single one of them looks brilliant on her. I just can't recall turquoise, isn't that strange? Perhaps she's ABOUT to?

Hi Janey..belated new year greetings to you.. And your last few lines made you realize what dreams are all about. :) Our senses show us more than what we would like to acknowledge. Like You are watching the screen but you also know that on the top and bottom there is the blue line and on side there is the scrollbar..even though you are in all probability only reading this content. Effectively, that image is trimmed and stashed somewhere in your brain. Watching tv also adds to your thoughts as well as this trash can, without you doing anything voluntarily. As does surfing on net or going for shopping. :) Now, when we sleep the main projector is switched off. So the brain now has time to sort out those trimmed pieces, and try to correlate it to some thoughts to make sense. It then presents it to us to help us decide whether we want to retain it or discard it. Some dreams are very vivid. We can recall them and find them strange as you did. Others just dont make sense and we forget them because they dont make sense. It does not mean any of those things are going to happen and it does not mean that those things are NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. There is a remote probability that they will, but normally ..highly unlikely.

Needless to say, seeing Queen Elizabeth the Second of England was a great thrill for the crowd in dream and It was surely a joyful and breathtaking scene.I can imagine you felt honoured at the moment you got a roll of silk.By the way, have you seen Queen in real life ? Sadly,I frequently dream some terrible monsters are chasing me .

Oh dear, sorry to hear that. I don't know that your dreams mean either, more to the point. As for me, yes I have seen the Queen. She visited various places on her previous Jubilee and, amazingly, on her list was Preston, where I worked at the time. She's a tiny lady which is probably why she wears such bright clothes in order to stand out. Bless 'er!

Good for you! I guess the scene at that time is still sharp and clear in your mind.

Unfortunately, I can't remember the colours she wore that day but I know they would be bright, I know that. Apparently, the reason why she wore yellow on her grandson's wedding day in 2011 was due to it being the 'colour of joy' something I didn't know until someone said so on the day lol. It does make me wonder if all the other colours she wears have meaning too, apart from black, which is obvious, the colour of 'mourning.'

I had a weird dream too. Just last night. I have dreamed that I one of those vampires on the breaking dawn 2 movie. Maybe this is because I'm thinking too much about vampires.
