Ombre hair, a DO or a DON'T??

From Jessica Beil too Lindsey Lohan,ombre hair has been popping up more and more but does it actually look good?? For those who don't know what it is, it is "dip dyed" hair, dark roots and lighter ends. Personally, I think it looks weird..depending on how big of a difference the two shades are. If its dramatically different then too me it looks like someone just didn't get their roots done. I'd like too call that "trailor park highlights". Comes complete with appliances in yard and free appearance on "Cops".

I think the Ombre hair is pretty, but I only think it's pretty when blonde and brown or dark shade of red and brown is used. I have seen ombre hair with blue or pink in the ends and it doesn't look good. I actually wanted to get one but i don't know how to do it on my own hair. i don't want to go to a salon because I know that they will charge me big time.

I love Lindsay Lohan's Hair. They perfectly look good on her face. But yes i wonder it would look good on me. It depends on the hair type and also the way we look. Not everyone will look good in ombre. I think it also needs a great after care. Even more than straightened hair. I never tried as in my country there are few salons whcih do this not all.

I know it's been a trending style for a while now, but I just can't bring myself to like it. To me, it just looks like someone had once dyed their hair blonde and now the color is almost grown out and the roots are halfway down the hair. It's just cheap and a bit trashy in my opinion. Even when it's done properly there's just something about the style that I don't like at all.
