Girls Weekend

I am looking to do a girls weekend the first weekend of March. We have a variety of incomes going so I am looking for something relatively inexpensive. We live in the Dallas TX area and in the past we have gone to the lake. However, I am thinking that in March the lake will be too cold. I have found some inexpenisve flights on spirit air and have been looking at Chicago or Miami. I really want this to be a fun trip and a way for us girls to have a weekend with no kids! What are some of your favorite girl's weekend destinations? I went to San Antonio for my bacherlorette party and it was a lot of fun, but I want something a little different.
Any ideas?

Girls weekend are fun. I love doing that with my friends too. A slumber party over one friend's house will do. We no longer get to see each other that much. Actually, I can even count the number of times we get to see each other the entire year. So when we get the chance, we just do some simple stuff like doing slumber party and movie marathon. Popcorns on the go and unlimited soft drinks. The best hang out for me is the road trip. I love doing road trips with my girls. We get to talk about a lot of things and anything under the sun. It's so much fun to be out with your girl friends. :D

It sounds like you have a good time when you get together with your girls. I am pretty lucky I get to see most of the girls that are going quite a bit so this is more of a chance to escape from the everyday worries of being wife and mom. I might have to steal your idea for a mother daughter weekend though. My daughter would love it!

I think if I lived in the States then a cheap flight to Miami on board Spirit Air would be great fun and very enjoyable. You could get gorgeous sunshine for your girls weekend. I went to Hastings in England for a girls weekend. One of my friends lived just along the coast from there. You could have a beach get together with some games with a ball. You could all go window shopping on the Saturday afternoon. Good luck planning your weekend away with the girls.

Yours sounds like fun! I wish we could do a weekend overseas! I have never been outside the states except for Canada, Mexico City, and Costa Rica!
