You'll never guess the type do dog that attacked me

I was attacked by a dog when I was about 3 years old. I was in the bank with my mother and my mother was at the teller and she sat me on the counter. I was looking at the dog the person next in line had. When I looked at it, it jumped up and me and stated hitting me. I did nothing to the dog or to the owner from where I was sitting but look at the dog and it attacked me.
Now for the type of dog, which my husband thinks its funny but I don't since I have been afraid of dogs my entire life. It was a seeing eye dog. Can you believe it. A seeing eye dog attacked me.

If you were attacked by a seeing eye dog, then the dog sure wasn't trained properly. Now, was it an "attack" (dangerous) or was he just trying to play with you? Either way, the dog was not trained correctly if he acted that way. However, attack suggests you were in danger. Just wondering.

I was told by my brother that I should not look straight in the eye of a dog. The dog might think something negative. The dog will just feel it by just looking in the eye even though the dog don't talk. I remember when our dog is pregnant and stayed in a place where no people can find it. I found her and when I look in her eye and she look to mine, I feel like she's going to attack me and so, I look away.

Maybe you look at the dog straight in the eye and since the dog was not properly train or the dog sees you as a stranger, well, the dog easily attack you thinking that your going to do something not good to him.

I believe you it happened.
But it is strange that a seeing eye dog would do that. It must not of been properly trained. Or one alot of kids picked on and it picked the bad habit up.

My little boy has a spelling test tomorrow. One of his words is "fox". Today we saw a dog and my daughter said "Look Mum. It is a fox dog". I thought that was so sweet. We asked which breed is that dog. The lady said it is an orange looking short haired old English sheep dog. It barked at us and jumped up.
It was awful at three years old you were attacked by a dog. I got knocked off my bike by two German Shepherd dogs when I was a teenager. I still love dogs and have two miniature poodles.
