A question about facebook games

I play Backgammon on facebook on a regular basis. And, of course, my Facebook friends send me coins and I can collect and gift back. What I am wondering is, the the site randeomly pick them, or do they decide to do it? The reason I ask is, me and my girlfriend have a mutual friend that stopped contacting stopped us. we haven't heard from her in more than a year but I never bothered to unfriend her. There was nothing that happened between us. Well, the other day, she sent me some coins. I'm just wondering if she did that or did Facebook do that?

Hi marty, I play cityville now and used to play farmville and they are kind of addicting. I remember there was time when I didn't log in to my games for about a month and only to find that when i did was not only welcomed by cityville but all my withered crops were unwithered by the admin. SO I think may be something like this happened with your friend too and may be it they might have done it but I feel may be your friend came online to help someone and she helped you too.

Marty, I am not regular on facebook games but I have friends who are. They never tell me if I sent them anything because I havent logged in for ages on my facebook account. So may be she logged in after months in the game and sent you. I do not think facebook would bother about if someone sent you anything or not

Purnima Like you me too hardly ever log on to facebook games and even though I am regular on facebook, but only play cityville and hardly ever go to game. We do have many common friends who we both know from school and yet none told me that they something which was not sent by me, but I do not trust facebook and they can do it to make the players remember they were on this too.

I don't think that it is randomly sending you coins from the site but it is your friend that is sending you the coins. When you are sending back and forth gifts, sometimes just choose to send gifts to whoever so the site doesn't ask them again for that day if they would like to send a gift to their friends. I know that I do that all the time.

I play poker on facebook on a regular basis. When you are sending coins, you get the option to select who you want to send it to. But most times these coin sending things come as pop up and they are annoying so what people usually do is they just select all and send so that the system can stop bother them to send coins. So more than likely I think that friend has no idea that she actually send that to you. May I ask, are you interested in continuing communciation with this mutual friend. If so, why don't you just ignore the coins whether she purposefully send it or not and just try to contact her. I hate to see friendship go down the drain.

My friend plays face book games still and she is forever sending people things from all of the games that she played. There is also a bit on the games that friends can choose to send all friends an item by ticking one box, rather than on a persons name. I hardly go on face book any more as there is nothing on there that really interests me and it is the same old people on there sending all the game requests.
