3 weeks more and it's Valentines day,Well even I am not catholic since the essence of Valentines day here is like Christmas. I love celebrating valentines day.I need to save a penny in celebrating valentines day with my loved ones. Buying 4 pieces of small doughnuts to my daughter as what I Did last year. which means I love you very much! and then we eat in near sari sari store with soft drinks and snacks. She is already happy already .For husband and wife. giving him a heart shaped chocolate will work with cakes how about you?

Well I have no boyfriend so I do not worry about that. But for my family it is a tradition that we eat out on valentines. Not necessarily on an expensive restaurant. Fast food is okay for us.

During my single years, I often go out with my girlfriends at work and we celebrate special occassions like valentines by ourselves. It's so much fun than celebrating with bf.

Well, for me, that day, such as Valentine's Day, I did not ever lived with that purpose. This is because? This simply because I, despite having reached the ripe age of 37, I've never been in love! All in all I'm okay alone, single. I live with dad, mom and younger brother. However I know that on February 14, is Valentine's Day, and a delight for engaged couples.

Your wonderful topic has reminded me that 'love is in the air'. Is is really sweet that you celebrated Valentine's Day with your family and love ones. My husband do not celebrate Valentine's Day as he said it is all for commercial purposes. Therefore, we do nothing about it! How I wished he is the loving type that will do something special on that day to show his love...nothing is wrong with that, right! It need not be expensive. I think he had this old school thinking!

That is good to know about your plan. It is not important if the gift we give is expensive or not as long as it came from our heart it will be greatly appreciated by the recipient. I am also planning to dine out with my family during this especial day. Have a nice day!

By simply doing something nice at home with loads of love. Cooking nice dishes for you and your lover. You can buy a nice small chocolate cake for you two. :)

Well, we're both kind of broke this year plus we have a anniversary coming after Valentine's day and my birthday before so we're on a budget. But I'm scraping to get him some new sunglasses, nice chocolates, chocolate covered strawberries, and a card, as well as some massage oil. But, we're going to have an "at home" date. We're going to get a new movie, and cook dinner together have some dessert and just have a nice quiet evening to really spend time with one another. I'm excited!

Thats cute, I don't think we really need to spend a lot for it, I think it's really the thought that counts. No amount of roses or chocolates can ever replace the thought itself because it is priceless. I'm sure your lived one would appreciate your efforts. Good luck. :)
