I Still Need To Learn A Lot Of Things

I started to become active with my online writing career and I am happy with the result especially with my first ever writing site, Expertscolumn. I thought my writings are already good because the site automatically published articles submitted as long as it complies with the guidelines. But when I decided to follow the advice of a friend to join another site, wikinut, that was the time that I found out that I really need to make some improvements to my writings. Out of 5 articles that I submitted, 2 of those were rejected. I am quite disappointed at first but I am still happy that I know I need to improve myself and to practice more. This is a new learning for me to consider. For my friends here who are writing with wiki, can you please share some suggestions on how to go about with the site? Your inputs will be highly appreciated. Have a nice day!

What a coincidence!Just now I was thinking about writing an article for Expertscoloumn, and just now I came across this post of yours. Also I too have joined the same article writing sites,Expertscoloumn and Wikinut. Now I am active only on Expertscoloumn.More than 14 of my articles have been acceted and published in the site.Wikinut also did not reject my article and published it.Presently I have got only one article published in Wikinut. Now I am planning to be more active there. It is really nice to know that you take rejection of your articles by the site as a lesson, not as a disappointment.Yes,rejection gives you a chance to upgrase yourself and to correct your errors. As is evident from your post, you write good English.May be you had committed any error. If so,you find the error out, correct it and send it again.

Hi ARIES,I agree with you that wikinut publishes our articles in an amazing style.I had sent only one article to the site and it was accepted and published. So no question of reaching the payout level arises. You have joined shvoong, and I am toying with the idea of joining it.Your post has inspired it to be more active in wikinut.I am sure I will enjoy writing for wikinut also. Thanks a lot.I wish you a great writing carrier in all the article writing site that you have joined and are going to join.My best wishes.

@ else and dee Yes we should try other options in order to earn more from online source. Doing little improvement at a time is a good thing to consider. After we were able to establish our writing careers, we will jump into forex, he he. Actually, that is my plan and I am doing it slowly. Thank you for sharing!

No my dear. I am not interested in forex. Need to get this online writing going man!! I have registered with Experts column, and now I am waiting for them to 'accept' me after I have send them a 300word article... I hope this will work out for me. I will have to sign off myLot now to go and check if there is anything I can do on iWriter. Keep me posted on how your writing is going, ok.

Expert column is another good site to practice our writing skills. I am not on there yet but I may sign up soon, you suggested it to me. There are sites like this to practice and I think it is great. Some may be rejected but just keep trying.

Hi echo! Yes I love expertscolumn and I have no problem with the site so far. This is still the site where I will give my focus for this year. Although joining other sites can also help us to know how far we go on this field. If we are really improving or not. Different sites may have different rules to follow. If we are compatible in any of them, I can say that we really doing well. Although yes, we might be facing some hard times, still we have to continue in order to reach our goals. Thank you for sharing!

I am not living myLot but I need to improve my online career as well. I know I owe a lot from this sites. Without myLot, I will not able to know about other opportunities. I will still be here, just that I also want to explore other things. Thank you for sharing!

myLot is the one I always spend the most focus in. myLot is a site that needs my focus to do well here and I enjoy being here so that is also why. Even without the money I would want to be here! Other sites don't hold my attention too much, I need the money but sometimes I don't know how to make it quick enough. I am going to look at experts column site now!

Wiki is one of my first writing site. But since the born of Expertscolumn and the greater opportunity when it comes to earning- I left Wiki. Wiki moderators are very accommodating as well as the members (Wiki writers). I am glad that most Wiki writers (or maybe all) are also writing on Experts.

So Expertscolumn is still the best article writing site for you? That's good to know. I am enjoying wiki because of some factors like attaching photos on the articles and a lot more. But still Experstcolumn will be my main focus for the year. By joining this site, I was able to know my level in the writing field. It is a big help for me. Thank you for sharing this information.

I don't have any experience with Wikinut but obviosuly their requirements are higher than the requirements of Expertscolumn. I've been writing for EC for some time and indeed they publish literally everything that compelles with the quidelines. So I won't give you advices but I sincerely wish you luck on Wiki and to improve your writing skills, that's why I responded. Good luck with this!

I joined first wiki, I submitted 2 articles. The one approved and published but the other one been under editorial status. I am thinking also that it's been the best that I write. I am thinking that I passed all the screening in EC, I am lazy to read guidelines. The article I submitted in wiki I also publish in EC. So far, all are remove.

If out of five, they accepted three, this really doesn't sound bad to me. One knows they are a writer when they have the rejection letters to prove it. Keep up the good work. I agree practice is the key to improving anything.

I'm also registered in several writing sites but I really don't know much about writing. I seldom write and some of them are published. Most if not all of my articles in triond were published but I only have few viewers. In the other sites, I haven't tried to write yet.

That is more than 50% accepted my friend, if you look at it from that perspective, you got three that were submitted and accepted. It just needs more practice, you should be proud of yourself for getting more accepted than rejected. When you start something new, it's always teething problems, which are easily ironed out, I am sure you will get used to it and in future have more your articles accepted. Could be worse, all of your articles could have been rejected!

for me, anything that makes me improve is welcome to my life. i also like writing. i have created blogs to make me write more by having some platforms and able to get some motivating comments from various readers. i have not tried wikinut. i am sure if i have time again to write something outside my blogs, then i will try this one. thanks for sharing.

Yes I agree with you friend. Sometimes, trying something else can be a good way to know if we are really improving. I know I made a lot of improvement from the first days of my online activities and I am thankful for that. I feel I am more confident this time however, I know that I still have to keep on learning new things. Had I not tried wikinut, I should have not known that my writing skill is not yet enough to compete with those who are expert on this field. I need to practice for more. I reviewed my work and one thing I found out is that I lack on the conclusion part and the other article, I think the idea was not organized in such a way that the reader was will be confused with the content and that of the title. By the way, I am glad also that you are doing quite well with you blogging. I am also at present creating my own blog. Thank you for sharing!

Hi aira! Our friend here invited me to the site and I can say that it is one of the great sites I've seen. If with EC, I am just doing it lightly, perhaps with this site, I will be able to test my ability. Well, I am a kind of person, that won't give up on anything. The more challenges that I face, the more I become eager to learn about it, he he. Good luck to all of us. Never give up! Fighting!

Hi Aries! I'm glad to hear that you enjoy writing. I don't know what those sites have to offer. I write for Yahoo Voices. I make $2 per every 1000 views. I usually get around 4800 views a day or more now. It's taken me 5 years to get where I am with Yahoo. I feel like I am fairly successful, but there are folks much more successful than me. There are folks that can make their car payments with their earning. Yahoo Voices is open to residents of the US. It's partially open to Canadians.

Hi PQ! I am happy for your achievements in your writing career. Yes, I know that success cannot be gained overnight. It needs time to be developed over the time. It might have been because of my carelessness that is why that thing happened. I also heard a lot about yahoo voices. But I am not sure if this is open here in the Philippines. Thank you for sharing your experience. This will be a great things to learn from. Have a nice day!

I am not into professional writing, but it seems to methat you're really doing good. I'm sure you still have rooms for improvement as you know yourself better than anybody else. Just keep on writing and don't be too discouraged about rejections. Even the greatest authors of today are not immune to rejection slips.
