My daughter and her father live a plane ride away from each other. She always has to fly down there to visit him but we finally convinced him to come here for march break. She wants to be able to show him around where she lives. She is thrilled. I just purchased a one way ticket for him and he will purchase the other way. Hope he doesn't back out now cause I already bought his ticket.

I am sure both daughter and Father would have fun together. Aren't you joining them?

No they don't see each other often so I want them to have time alone together, plus him and I don't really get along just for her sake. I'll take this time for some alone time with my new hubby

That is wonderful. You can have family bonding. Maybe you are all excited especially your daughter. Have a good day and happy vacation to all of you!

You mean you are not good to your daughter's father? The way you state your discussions seems that you are broken family. Forgive me if I am mistaken to understand your point of view. The best thing to develop father and daughter relationship is to have a bonding regularly.

No I'm no longer with her father but encourage their relationship, wish he would make a bit more of an effort but this is a big step for him to come here so I'm happy he is trying a bit more to keep their relationship alive

I can imagine how thrilled your daughter is to show him how she lives! Keep positive thinking that is all you need. I think now the ticket is final he will surely come over! Hope you all have a great time.

I hope it really works out for your daughter. A dad and daughter relationship is so important. A dad is the first man a girl looks up to, so the dad has quite a responsibility towards his daughter. I am sure your daughter's dad wants the best for his daughter. I am sure they will have a good time. I wish them a wonderful visit together. :)
