Doesn't it feel good when....

all your housework is done and over with? yesterday I did 2 loads of laundry and knew I had 2 more to do but just didn't feel like doing it. This morning I woke up and the first thing I did was get the rest of it mostly towels and whites together and got it all done and even folded and put away which I usually take my time doing but today I just felt like getting it over with...so I did and I've finally got all my laundry done in 2 days! I've been feeling good about it all day...not much of a life huh?..lol.....Does it make you feel good to get all your household chores done? It's such a feeling of accomplishment for me!

Wow yes its a big achivement and it does give one satisfaction that all the house is clean and everything is at its place.

Ahh, it does feel good, when I'm not able to finish something such as chores, I get so stressed about it and I think about it a lot. It really does feel good to just get it over with. And I really don't like it as well when I put it off too much that I end up with so much work. I've learned it the hard way to do the chores little by little everyday so they don't pile up. I save more time and effort doing that.

That's good too if you live alone. I used o live with someone who had OCD. she was my aunt and she owner the house and id have to clean the house everyday before I went to school. Plus she's very sensitive and allergic to dust, she knew if I didn't clean.ahh the perks of living alone.

The housework here is never really done. I get things somewhat sorted, but there is always more to do.

I know exactly what you mean. Just the other day I was able to clean the house so well that I took the next day off from cleaning. It does make us feel good when we are able to just get it all out of the way. Then we can do other things that we would like too.

No it doesn't. Since housework is never ending especially if you have a family. I clean up and 5 min. later I can start again. I also would not save my laundry up to 4 loads (this would be over 30 kilo with me). I can't hang it out (it's winter here) in my house so it would be useless. BTW I am happy I only have 1-2 loads a week. Mostly wash at night or the weekends since the electricity is a bit cheaper.

Dont I know it? 
I so love to just sit down and relax knowing that my household chores are all done. The house smells clean, the kitchen is wiped and not a dirty dish on the counter, the dirty clothes hamper are empty. What a bliss! I hope our house can be like this everyday.

Gosh i envy you, i have two weeks of dirty clothes to work with after i am done with 41 hours of work per week, i have to work on that laundry tomorrow or else my kids will have no school uniforms to wear by Monday.
I really do like to get things done and when i am finished i feel satisfied and useful, i always feel like i'm doing a good job just by being a mother to my kids and a wife to my husband, now the situation has changed since last Decemeber, i have to look for work to earn our keep...now i have to keep up with the laundry. pity me.

LOL, Yes, I know exactly what you are talking about. I did that last Saturday. I washed all the clothes and put everything away. While doing that I was cleaning bathrooms and all the other rooms from dusting, sweeping and mopping. I was completely done by 12:30pm and couldn't believe it. It felt good to have a clean house and the rest of the weekend to do what I wanted. Yes, we don't have a life if this makes us happy. lol

If everything you see is Topsy-turvy, your mind will be topsy-turvy too! But if everything is well-organized, of course your mind will function well. It really feels good if your chores are already done--it's so relaxing. It is better to take a rest if you are tired than to take a rest if you did nothing at all. Yes, you are right, when everything that you have to do is already done, you will feel satisfaction and accomplishment.

Yes it make me feel good, when all my house work is done, that way I can spend all day on my computer, working here in Mylot, comment on all of these discussions, and I have lots of fun when I come here everyday, seeing all the discussions, I get to comment on I get excited, and it keeps me very busy in Mylot, everyday and I like saying busy.
