Megan has ambition. With a voice like that she will go far. I am happy to hear the surgery went well and she will be on her feet for Hollywood. She had an amazing voice. I agree with nicki and how Megan didn't let her leg decide who she was. Most people would have just said oh well maybe next year but she went above and beyond and I'm looking forward to seeing more of her.
Charlie was very shy and well sort of dorky. He surprised me. I didn't expect that voice to come out of him. He earned his spot to Hollywood.
Madrid was nominated by her grandma. I could tell she could sing and make it just from when Randy handed her the numbers. I am happy to see what she has to bring to the competition. I'm glad her grandma nominated her.
Paul sang rascal flats he sounded good to. There is a lot of talent here in Louisiana. I know his grandfather is looking down on him. I am interested in what he has to offer.

Dr. Calvin is not someone I would have thought to see on American idol (it's not a bad thing it's good to see). I am happy to hear he is going to be in Hollywood.
Dustin was the fire fighter. I forgot the song he sang but he did a great job. He has a lot of support and I am interested in seeing what he has to offer to the competition. It's good to see people still follow their dreams.
Bernell picked the perfect song for him. Specially after the disaster he went through with hurricane Katrina. I felt every word he sang. I agree that was more of a live show than an audition.
Lots of great talent and sounds like there is a lot more still to come next week. It's looks like another great season in the making

I really like Megan, she is really ambitious (it is meant to be a compliment hehe) and didn't let anything to prevent her from auditioning. She has a good voice, really pretty and witty. Using her crutch as a microphone is really nice. I've enjoyed Mushroom (Nicki's nicknames for contestants are so funny) presence though his voice is not good. Keith's comment to Mushroom that he is a fun guy which sounds like fungi is hilarious and I think appropriate :)

The nicknames are just fun and funny and it keeps you guessing. It makes it entertaining honestly.

I love american idol... I never miss it. Im lucky here in Mexico.. we get the show repeated 2-3 times a week here.

I am glad that I have gotten into watching American idol also because I love it now to since I started watching it last year I haven't missed a show either and I hope not to have to. I never really look for it any other night than the night it airs so I don't know if it comes on more that once.

I did think that Megan was a good singer. I also liked the fact that her name is Megan Miller because my name is Megan and my boyfriend's last name is Miller. Lol However, she is already a celebrity in a sense. She is a pageant queen (I can't remember which state she represents) so of course they were going to tell her story. I also remember a few episodes ago that a girl got put through and she already had a cd out. I don't think that's fair to the other contestants because they haven't got their chance at fame and the ones with cds out have had the chance.
Charlie surprised me as well. I hope he makes it far in the competition. Madrid was also very good. I liked her voice and the "texture" of it as Nicki always says. Haha
I remember the Rascall Flatts song but I don't really remember the guy who sang it. I do remember saying he was good though. Mushroom? Let's not even discuss him. Lol I also don't remember Dr. Calvin very well.
Dustin was one of my favorites. I enjoyed the fact that he sang country. I also like that he's cute and his name is Dustin (which is my boyfriend's name lol). But I know it's not all about looks. I do think he will make it far in the competition. Bernell was also very good. I do wish that they would show more people who CAN'T sing because sometimes they need a comedic relief and I just think the horrible singers are more entertaining.

that is pretty cool how the names turned out. I thought she was the one who was the pageant queen but I wasn't sure. I'm glad she auditioned.
Yes to me if they already have a CD out then they do not belong on American idol. It really is unfair to the rest of the contestants.
Yea I couldn't say much about mushroom 
he is an interesting person but not singing material.

my husband and I say the same thing. I enjoy seeing the ones who can't sing. It does make the show that much more interesting and funny to watch. I mean I want to see the people that can to tho. Also I know it's probably very embarrassing for them to be shown.
