I'm Going Back To The Old

I've been here more than 5 years and I think by the month of March 2013 be my 6 years here. There's a year that I was inactive. I was busy doing some stuff offline. This morning when I arrived in the shop I open my laptop and thinking what would be my unusual doing today with regards to myLot. One thing came to my mind, what if I will go back to the old post that I made since the beginning, the first day I joined myLot. Imagine, I go through the 320 pages of discussion before I reach the end and the beginning of of the topic I did. I was laughing myself because, I was not able to express some of my words and even feelings that time. I wrote mostly wrong, grammatically speaking, which I observe myself late I improve. Those discussions got only 3-5 responds. I rated all the members who give opinions and ideas. Most of the members who responded are no longer active here now. How I wish they will go back again here soon. I observe also that once I commented back all discussions even it was very old and more than 5 years already it will come first in my profile. So, it means all those discussions will possibly visible to all members now. I will continue commenting back if I got new respond. Happy myLotting everybody. Best Regards, julyteen 01/25/2013 @6:32PM Philippines Time

That's actually a good idea for monetizing old discussions, they're Ideas too and they're original and they're yours, there's no reason you can't do what you want with them. That's actually a good idea, maybe I'll do that too with my first discussions because I probably started them at a not so good time that they didn't get much attention and there are discussions where in I haven't commented back at all because I didn't know that we on,y earn from what we type. I thought that I get something when other people responded to me as well. I was feeling like I shouldn't at first since they are very old discussions, thanks for bringing this up.

I think you learn alot more things now while participating to some of my discussion specially old one. If you continue doing it bringing back the old to become new, it would be very beneficial. Do you know, once you respond to the old discussions, after your comment it will show inline with the new discussions.

I also went back to my first discussions when i decided to be active here again... and i suddenly realized that my life then was so different from my life now... like... i only have one child then... i was working in the office with a very boring set up... i was using a laptop not a netbook... my husband was still working abroad but not anymore... etc... etc... etc... Mylot then was a way for me to escape boredom and earn a little on the side... and mylot today is still an escape... a form of earning... and a way of keeping my sanity intact... i stay at home most of the time... and i am just glad that mylot is here to accompany me...

I also re-read my previous post related to different events of my life. Few months after I joined myLot I enrolled again for 2 course in college, I meet a girl whom I love it most. She joined myLot and continue posting until now even we have different walks of life already, my mom passed away I also inform myLot.

That only goes to show that myLot plays a pretty big role in shaping us. What I notice for example, is that one gets trained to keep one's temper in check as that is a no no here!

Yes, myLot give us a good training to mingle with other people with different tongue, background and cultures. Even me I consider myLot as a school to shape me up and the learnings I gain from here I used in my everyday life adventures.

I am sure you must be finding the differences and the improvement in your writing five year back and now. Any way 5 year is too long to be on any site. And we all knew that since Mylot is the good and trust worthy site that pays their members, that's the reason people like you we see them on this site working for years. Wish you all the best and will love to see you here for many more years.

Going back to the old things can help us see where we have been at the moment as well as the improvement we have made through all those years. This is one good thing to do especially if there are times that we are having some doubt as to our achievements and we thought that we are not having some improvement after all. It does not only refer to our writing skills but to other aspects as well. Whether we say it or not, there are times that we feel discontented of what we have at the moment. Looking back to our previous situation can be of great help to appreciate what we have at present. Have a nice day!

Oh wow, 5 years! I'm only 3 months here. How did you find out about mylot in the first place? I'm looking forward on staying here as long as mylot is still alive. Well congratulations, in some way this is an achievement specially with english. I've been learning here a lot of things lately and same with english-the grammar, spelling and some new words.
