Facebook Won't Let You Edit Comments Anymore?

Someone said FB won't let them edit comment anymore and i went to see if it had that option on mine and it doesn't now. I wonder why they changed that again, I liked the edit option cause I always make alot of typos and stuff. I will be missing it for sure. they add things and take away the things you really need. Makes no sense to me. How can you get them to put it back and leave well enough alone sometimes. Nothing they do different usually is helpful for me. I do like the ticker on the side maybe, but thats all.

it's still there,but it seems to be random.
some comments it allows it,some not.
nothing FB does makes sense half the time anyway.

Yes, I noticed that too--I checked after reading this discussion--some of my comments & discussions can be edited, and others can't...not sure why....

What!? they removed the edit feature on comments? why did they have to do that. It doesn't make sense. They seem to be changing a lot of things that are really important and adding things that is no use at all and makes the site a little harder to navigate and not so easy on the eyes. I like facebook, But all the changes are making me want to forget about it.

Do not worry we can still edit comment in fb. Maybe her internet connection is slow or other problem.

I just checked on the site and it does let you edit. In the upper right hand corner
there is a gear and a pencil. Pencil is the editing option. Maybe there was a glitch when you tried last. But it did just work for me.

I didn't notice that until I saw this discussion. That really sucks because I liked having the edit option too on facebook. Because I too was always making typos and stuff. I can't believe they did away with it and I wonder why they took it away. It is so true though they are always adding the good stuff and then later taking it away, but then they keep the stuff that people really don't need.

hello, Nailtch! I tried editing my comment and I was still able to edit mine. Maybe you just have a slow connection. that happens sometimes.

Another reason why I hate facebook. Makes no sence to me to not allow that.
