I guess I am reincarnated or something because I never really like the modern musics. I can't even understand what they want to mean with their music.. Have you ever listened to 90's music or 80's? Damn! They're so good!! I can't stop myself from browsing old music because the message they pass with their music is so understandable and very soothing, if you know what I mean. My friends even laugh at me because I don't even know a single latest music that there are in their playlist. I don't find myself as weird because this. I find myself special, because i appreciate real music!

my lady, Nice to see you after a long time You are not alone, my kids are not into the new genre, they still prefer the old ones. My daughter like the band "My Chemical Romance" but she loves Andrea Bocelli and other classic music. My son likes some few songs and new artists like Cristina Perri, but they listen more to the old ones. Maybe because we have wide collections of the best songs from 60's,70's,80's and 90's.

I can definitely relate to what you mean Marie. Being that I'm an 80's baby, I came up on a lot of the good music from the 80's and 90's. I still listen to a lot of music from those eras, as it often brings me back to good times in my life. Even most of the modern music I listen to, is mainly underground music, so it's not music you would hear on the radio. Anyway, I don't think you're weird or anything for your taste in music. I actually commend you a lot because you're so young. You have an old soul though.

I prefer the older stuff too. Hate dubstep and most of modern stuff.

I love the music from the 80's and the 90's. When I was a teenager I teased my mother because she listened to music from the 60's and didn't want to listen to the new music at all, and now I do exactly the same thing I think that the music from the 80's and the 90's is much better than the modern music. At my local library it is possible to borrow cds and I usually borrow music from the previous decades, but sometimes I decide to give the new music a chance. Last time I did that I didn't even listen to the entire cd because I didn't like the music at all. My friends also laugh of me when I don't know the modern singers that they talk about, but I prefer to listen to music from the 80's or the 90's.

I love 80's and 90's music. I especially liked 80's alternative like The Smiths, Cure, Depeche Mode. Loved all the different music that came out in the 90's. Ska, Swing, Rap Metal, Nu Metal. Grunge. Such a great mix of stuff.

I absolutely agree with you. Songs from 80's to 90's really captured and still captures interest of almost all people. Its not just because lyrics are easy to understand but also it has the power to stay on your mind even so many years already passed. Don't think you are alone pal! Theres still a lot of us who loves oldies music and appreciates it.

I sooooo love Fu*king oldies music too! I love Classick Rock, jazz and blues. I don't care if others would tell me I am boring because I love oldies more than modern music. I just love the classics anyway, I love those music which are timeless more than those which last for a short period of time.

Very timeless, indeed! :) I especially loved the The Carpenters. Their music is totally timeless and classic! So beautiful! Especially, Karen's voice is golden!
