What's my graduation gift to him?

my gift - What should be the best gift for him?

My nephew will graduate in high school this coming March 21, 2013. I'm planning to give him a gift but still confuse what will I give to him. I want a gift that is not too costly yet special. My dear friends I'm asking your for your suggestions. Please help me. Thanks everyone!

How about a pair of new shoes?You can tell him that means a very brand new start of his life in college,a pair of new shoes means a new start.

Hello litvillegas. I don't have any suggestions for a graduation gift. I have a granddaughter graduating this spring too and I have no idea what to get her either. She may not be going to college and if she does she will be living at home. Besides that she has every thing under the sun.

Oh! I know how you feel. It's quite hard from you because she has everything. In my nephews case he doesn't have everything so I'm sure he will love it! By the way what about necklace or bracelet of any other accessories for girls. I'm sure event though she has everything I'm sure she would love to have that added on her collections. She will appreciate that because that's from you.

I would go to www.gifts.com or some site like that and check for options. What does he like to do? Maybe he is planning something celebritory after his graduation. You could put some money toward that. There are plaques and music boxes and all sorts of things. Depends on what you think he'd like.

If he's headed off to college, a gift card to a store that sells things that would be useful in a dormitory room would likely be appreciated. It could be presented with a graduation teddy bear holding the envelope containing the gift card. It's not the most unusual idea, but it is one that your nephew would probably like.

I'm not sure about your budget or what you find too costly. A really inexpensive item would be a nice, quality notebook (as a diary or so) with a nice pen, or an album or a scrapbook of the photos of you two. You could also buy him a cheaper silver piece of masculine jewelry, if he wears jewelry.
