BlogIt? Paying THEM to put MY writing on the Internet? I can get THAT for FREE!

(This post is very anti-BlogIt, but watch a bunch of BlogIt-ads come up anyway ) It's just disappointing, is all. I clicked the link because it looked like another chance for me to share my abundant wisdom with the world, but--AFTER I had been roped-in, had 'announced' the blog-subjects I preferred & had probably even given them my email-address--they spring this 'enter your payment information so we can charge you monthly for publishing the content we'll LET you GIVE US' on me! Or maybe I'm misjudging here, and the administrators at BlogIt AREN'T lazy money-grubbers scamming honest writers out of their meager subsistance. Maybe they do TONS of SEO (Search-Engine Optimization) and get the writers HUGE traffic from searches. (Although I've never HEARD of BlogIt aside from that FALSE ADVERTISING ... maybe it wasn't "false," because I'm sure members earn their money back through some 'pyramid scheme'; but more "misleading." Maybe I don't 'Search' enough to see any of their writers' work, or maybe it comes out under a different name than BlogIt.) Do you have a better view of BlogIt?

That's from the idea that the blogger gets paid for more views on their blog (which is one reason why they want you to share the blogs ... although they mostly want you to share so that your friends are as well-informed as you!)

Noooo.. They should pay you for the effort you put into the writing. Otherwise why would people hire writers for. Blog writers don't need publishers to make money but publishers need writers. To be honest when you said that BlogIt wants payment to put your writing in the internet doesn't make sense. I mean you can get exposure and get paid as well if you're good. You can publish in websites that will gladly pay you for the content that you provide for them and you get exposure at the same time. So why need to pay?

You're partly right, but the publishers have to PAY for 'the server-space' (or for 'the energy to run the server' if they own it), plus the cost-of-living and all the taxes & fees for handling money & stuff.

I just was reading the same information as well, and just started my own thoughts here on that very thing. If it is legit how? Sounds like one of those promote this site and then you will get your $$ back type of SCAM to me.

And I'm happy that the clouds outside your high white tower window give you all the world you need to see. Don't try to see more than you can see; you won't like what you find

I'm sure there are some people who get paid by them, but all I can say is I've made it a practice never ever to pay anyone for anything except a real product I am ordering from Amazon or ebay over the internet. I can't afford it, for one thing, and I don't have the money to pay someone for me to make money, for another...lol.

I tried to visit that site after reading this discussion but i did not understand why they are letting us pay . Am i getting the right thing or i did not understand what they are talking about. Why do we have to pay and its quiet big when we are there to earn . First time to hear this.
