Dearra doesn't do mornings

Also, she doesn't do hardware. She looked at the sink in my bathroom, and wanted to know how to let the water out. "You push it down", I said and went in and demonstrated. "Well that's stupid, it should be made so you pull it up". We've only been in that house 6 months, and the sink in her bathroom is exactly the same as mine. Grouchy teenagers in the morning. Can I help it if the cat likes to drink his water out of the sink better than he likes to drink it out of his bowl? PS How did I get into the walking lions?

Kids! Gotta love them. Funny she has the same faucet in her room. Maybe yours was turned alittle differently and looked different to her. Walking lions? Not sure.

Well, there are times, especially when in a newer home or place where you are getting used to everything it is always not that easy to remember everything. Especially in the morning when you are not fully awake yet. But I can relate with the "I Don't Do Mornings", as I don't really like to either, especially when getting home from work at 1 a.m.

Mornings can be rough--especially when you have to head off to school. I don't think that I was ever much of a morning person while I was a prisoner of the public education system. Then, once I went off to college, I became a bit more of a morning person. These days, it is hit-or-miss as to whether I'm a morning person. Some days, I'm ready to face the day at 6:30. Other days, the cats start coming in and checking for a pulse around 10:30 or so.

I became less of a morning person in college, but then I stayed up later.

The first thing thst I do is put on the coffee. Then, I attempt a smile and ask the twins what they would like for breakfast either a or b. Never a c choice. Drink coffee and try to ignore what is haoening around me until I have drunk my coffee. Eat slice of toast and take pills. Then another cup of coffee (no more for the day) and now I am revved up and feel so much better. Hey world! I am up and aswake so bring it on

I don't blame her at all. I have been to places abroad where each country and even hotels have their toilets differently designed. Some just get flushed without your touching them when you move away, some you have to push, some you have to pull, some you have to turn...........At one place, there were 10 toilets in a row and we holiday package guys were using them while others were waiting outside. I was flabbergasted I did not know what to do. I took courage and asked for help and someone who was standing outside gave a suggestion. It worked - not just mine but all the other 9. That was a beautiful sound!

When I traveled through Europe, I was amazed at the different mechanisms that existed to flush toilets. Not to mention the different thicknesses and textures of the toilet paper.

The toilet paper that we get here is thick too but we Indians hardly use toilet paper as you know. I have a stock just for guests, though. I did pick up a few rolls that were kept for my use when I was holidaying abroad. I like the texture of thoe rolls.

I've seen T-shirts with those words on them... (I don't do mornings). One of my nieces even had one. It also had a sleepy kitty on it.

I don't do mornings either. Unfortunately I don't have much of a choice most days, so I feel for her!
