Your problem and situation is what I'm facing now, too. I also lack confidence in my ability, although all of my friends think I'm very competitive. As we are going to be interviewed in a few months, what we can do now is to further improve the skills that are needed for our professions, since we still have time 2. We have to bear in mind that employment is a mutual choice. We are not 'low class', and they are not 'higher authority', and instead they are only people who are in want of people who suit and are willing to work in their companies. We have our right to select from a bunch of companies, too. Before interview, we can still improve self-confidence by getting familiar with the culture, values, principles, background of the company. What kind of employees they are looking for, and what we have to be qualified for this job. Plus, be well-dressed, neat and clean, and be nice and smile. :D Best wishes for us!

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i can understand your situation and i know u must be very much worried about interviews. I think there is nothing to fear about interviews and the first rule while giving any interview is always to have confidence otherwise u will fail miserably in the interviews. So be confident in your attitude and do not think about anything else. What say?

Believe in yourself. Always come prepared. Show a very confident appearance. You know, some of those people in the high position would just want to portray that they are strict or intimidating. But it is one way of testing a person on his capabilities. Show your interest and your willingness to face any trial.

Happy New Month! I wish you all the very best in your interview. You don't have to worry much. Gather little courage and prepare. I once also use to be very shy, but now I am overcoming it. I basic thing is Courage. Of course, you also have to be well dressed. Make sure the morning before that interview you meditate and expel all unnecessary stress. I wish you all the best. Take Care.

Prepare, plan in advance and be confident. In first interviews, the employer mostly tend to judge your confidence rather than the skills. They want to make sure if you are confident enough to handle the corporate life and take pressures. Don't dread the process, stay calm and maintain your cool even if you don't know an answer. Don't fumble.

You have to know the dos and don'ts. I guess that's just a normal feeling. Before the date of your interview, you have to practice with other prople. Prepare for your big day. You have to sell yourself. Research about the company you are applying. What benefits can you bring to the company. You have to listen carefully. Prepare your questions, too. Be confident and dress appropriately. You won't feel that nervous if you are well-prepared. Goodluck.
