it's 6 am and still dark outside...

I have noticed this lately---it is already 6 in the morning but it is still dark outside, looking like it's still 4 am. The skies are dark and it feels like it's still too early to be up. This is why during school days, I have to be watchful with the time, checking the clock from time to time because if you just look outside and depend your movement on the breaking of day, you'd be late.
Is this something permanent? Is this part of our damaged environment? or is it a signal of a storm coming? But it's been like this for weeks I think.
Do you also have the same phenomenon in your place?

hmm i noticed that too, but i just always keep in mind what our teacher told us before that there are certain months (especially starting november or december) where the sun would set earlier and rise a bit later thus the night would seem so much longer. but during summer, day time would seem longer than night time.

It does make you wonder and all that, especially the way we are treating our planet, and mother nature is probably getting her own back. The phenomenon we have is that for the first time in I don't know how long we've had snow at the end of March, normally in our country once February has gone, so has the chances of snow, but no, this year we've been experiencing very cold weather, it's supposed to be Spring and this Sunday the clocks go forward, it's more like mid Winter still! Summertime officially starts March 31st LOL! Yeah right... Dream on...

Yes cutie , the wether is changing , look at the news, wht about the polar ice packs melting. Lots of changes going on. Get a light with aq timer on it to wake you up and start your day with light.
