Hi, after a long time i am again on mylot with a good news :) and the news is- we are expecting our first baby (after 6 yrs of marriage) ^_^ though its too earlier (just 14 weeks) but we started planning and shopping for baby :D now i spend my spare time while reading articles etc about pregnancy and baby care, hubby is very excited and much more caring and responsible than before.. I will need your help and suggestions also.. yesterday i was searching on some shopping sites for a crib but couldn't understand how to choose a right one..there is a long list of things to collect..

Congrats! I can understand how exciting it is, after awhile of being together. My husband and I were together 10 years before we had our child. There is so much to catch up on, as new parents!
We went with a convertable crib, so it could grow with our son. Was a good idea, at first, since it can turn into a toddler bed and then a day bed, and then the rails are used as head/foot boards whenever you get a full mattress. I thought it would be a lot longer until then, but our son is nearly three and it seems like he may need something bigger.

Oh yes, they do. I suppose it would be a lot better if they did so in thier own bed, and not in the parents. My son will sneak in bed, and then somehow, I am pushed out of the bed.

Congratulations! You are going to be proud mother of a first child. To get a good baby, you must listen the advice of your doctors. Do not neglect any advice and you should also listen the advice of your mother, aunties regarding the nursery of your baby before and after born. Congratulations! A new bady. Isn't it fun to shop for the new little one. It's a good ideato read up on the subject. I have raised three so I might have some ideas for you to think about. Enjoy your pregnancy. The first one is unique and you will never do it again. The first one that is. Enjoy.

When my daughter was pregnant she went to this one church and took free classes in baby care, nutrition and such as that. She got points for going to them and then after the class she could go the store they had pick out baby clothes, toys and linens for the points she recieved. It was really nice for her.

Yes friend if hubby is supportive or lovely then life is changed and if annoying then also life is changed but the difference is one side the happiness and other side is sadness. You are lucky you have good hubby ans sweet baby...

Thankyou vivek, yes i am taking proper rest and doing all the necessary things for baby :) I can not leave the responsibility of shopping on my hubby as he doesn't know anything about it..even i do all shopping for him, he is expert only in technological things like computer, mobiles, cars and bikes and other gadgets.. he never handled a baby before, it will be his first chance to see a little one so close..

So now you are on that stage of motherhood. And i must agree that same as your husband, my husband was overly sweet and caring when i was pregnant.
And when finally the baby was born, he was so much of a responsible father and husband.

Wow! Congratulations!
You should take good care of your health as this will help you and your baby as well to be healthy.
If you are planning to buy a crib this time then you could choose a color that can be used both by a baby boy or girl. It is still early I think to know the gender of your baby.

Stop searching for a crib prices are very unstable at the time you need it might be of a very low price concentrate first on your health for you have a baby to feed inside

About the crib, i think its better to have a hint on the gender first so you can come up with the best one for your baby..Congrats, again. So happy for you.
