Well, when it comes to quitting smoking, it really has to be up to you and your want power as well as your will power. This is not something that can just be easily done in a day. But if this is something that you are really wanting to do, talk to your doctor about things like the Patch or nicorette gum, and see if these are things that will work for you. Just remember, it has to be up to you.

You can't totally stop it in a day. You need to first lessen the number of sticks that you consume in a day. And when you feel the urge to smoke, do something to replace it like chew a gum or drink water or eat some candies until such time that you have completely eliminated your smoking habits. I heard that using the nicotine patches help too. Ask your doctor about it.

Self determination is needed to quit this habit.It is very difficult to quit this habit.Smoking is very dangerous to our health and it is more dangerous than drinking.I dont like both drinking and smoking,but i tried it once in my life when i was studying in college.I find nothing special in that ,so i decided not to take it in my whole life.Both smoking and drinking is injurious to health and it is better to keep away from this bad habit.With out banning such products,it is very difficult to keep people away from this bad habit.There is limitation in a waring the people about the hazards that caused by this had habit.Self determination is the best method to keep away from this.

Hi friend, your will power is very important to leave smoking. At you can reduce it gradually and at one stage you can leave it. It may not be able to leave it suddenly. One of my colleagues left smoking and during interim period, he was eating spices, when he felt smoke is necessary.
