My daughter finally got her wish

My daughter has been wanting a dog for years. I have always been afraid of dogs but have gotten used to them a bit more in the last few years. I have been researching dogs and looking for our perfect dog for a while and we picked up our Komondor puppy today. She is so sweet and cute. She will be a huge dog. Hope I can handle all of this. Thank god my husband has always trained and owned dogs and he is here to help me through my first puppy.

Oh! I am really happy for you and your daughter. And a warm welcome from my side also to your dear little cute puppy . Well, have you given her a name yet or not?? I also have been wanting to have a dog from my childhood, but since my mom is not all that used to it, they wouldn't let me to have one. Even now and then i keep asking them to get ourselves a puppy and let us grow it, but they still wouldn't agree. Just waiting for when I could get myself a home and then, I could have dogs in my place. No one will ask me not to do so. happy day ahead with the new family member.

I am really glad that your daughter finally got her wish and now your family have a dog. Your female doggie sounds sweet and lovely. What sort of coloring has she got. I am happy to hear that your husband is great at dog training. A puppy can be playful so be careful where you leave your slipper. I got my male dog in 2004 and he is a mixed colored miniature poodle. I got my female dog in 2006 and she is a black miniature poodle. I took them to puppy training school. I love you dogs and know they give my family much joy. Good luck with having a happy time with your new puppy. Your daughter is going to learn how to care your family's wonderful doggie.

Hi,poppoppop, Your daughter must be very happy to get her wish. When I read your discussion, it made me think of my daughter, like your daughter, she was afraid of dogs, especially the big ones, but she likes puppy dogs(small ones). SHe wants a dog, too. She asked me for it many times but I still can't meet her desire, as I am always busy for work and I have no time for taking care of a dog. She is so little that she can't take care of it , either. SO I told my daughter I will buy her a dog when she is about 18 , then she can take care of the dog by herself. She was very happy about that. She told me she would make a beautiful dress for her dog when she has it. Why do children like dog that much?
