Wedding Venue

My boyfriend always wanted to get married in a certain spot on a lake he grew up around. He showed me this spot, and though it is pretty it doesn't feel right to me. I want the place I get married to mean something to me. I don't have the heart to tell him, and I don't know where to begin without sounding selfish. Help!

Well still want church to be my wedding venue if ever I'm about to get married. I still find church as the sacred place where I think I should take my vow to my future husband. :)

Well, that would be kind of tough. But try asking him if he would like your idea. If not, then look for a place neutral.

Maybe try making your own memories at that spot, with your boyfriend. Then it might become as special to you as it is to him. Or maybe look into a compromise. Have the reception at the lake and the wedding at a place you consider special.
