I have seen most of the mylot members have this star on their username.When I will have this star on my username?Is having star important or have any significance.

Is that why you didn't respond and help out a new user? Every day there are many topics started which have the answer in the FAQs but that does not stop me (and others) from helping out.

If you get 100 discussions in total,then you will see star before your username. You can check FAQ and guidelines for more details.

It is not necessarily 100 discussions. That number is made up of topics for discussions, responses and comments.
