Seeing a picture in a magazine

My daughter is 3 years old. On a train at the weekend she picked up a free magazine produced by the train company. There was a cute looking photo of a red panda. For days she has been keen on that picture. The picture was taken in Bristol Zoo. I looked at their website and they are saying kids can go there for five pounds if they bring one of the fruits or vegetables on their list. So we could get two apples for cheap admissions. Have you ever seen a picture in a magazine which really interested you?

There's a lot of things I see in magazines or online that really interests me. To a point where I would like to go and visit. I guess one particular example would be the London Eye. Not only in magazines, but I've also seen it in movies. If ever I get to London, then maybe that would be a destination that I would like to go.

Yeah, I do..sometimes it happens to me. When I look to a magazine, and when i like it, i never get tired seeing it, especially if it amuses me. Sometimes i buy a lot of copies of that magazine and share it among friends or relatives.

a pleasant day maximax8, with regard to your post, i always pick magazines whenever i go to a fashion store. from there i am able to see different clothes styles. and this is the main reason why i loved picking them up. those fashion clothes are one of my interest. and seeing these stuffs makes me feel excited though i already admitted to myself that i can't really buy them because they are quite expensive.

Hi maximax. Well I don't recall any particular incident but I love reading travels and tours magazines while travelling. There was once a image of a beautiful road covered with snow on both the sides leading to glaciers in the Great Himalayas. Since then I have imagined myself so many times going to that place. However, I am yet to get a chance to actually experience that. Have a nice day !! SuperShames

My son had a picture of a huge ferry which he found in a free magazine from the ferry company. I'm not sure what it was that appealed to him about it, but he kept it for ages and ages.

Pictures of tiny houses, cabins, yurts and tipis have drawn me in before. I love houses, so articles with photos of beautiful and unusual houses can capture my attention.

I'm very much against zoos. Animals should not be caged & treated like they are. Are you familiar with their practices? My wife volunteered at the local zoo here once. We've got to be very careful about the kinds of things we support financially. There are many wildlife parks in Africa, China, etc to name a few where we could see & support such animals. There are also wildlife sanctuaries everywhere, most of the best with "no kill" policies in place. One of our main ones here is about to close down.
