My computer is on vacation!

In terms of money I have not accomplished much these last couple of weeks. I came back from 10 days in the country with family and friends as I told you on a post and a day after I recieved the visit of a nephew that I see only once a year because he lives in Europe. He stayed with me for 3 days. Today is the first time that I touch my computer, so to say. The problem is thta I will have to get money out of nowhere and quick. My washing machine has problems again. The technicians came and took it with them. It`s an old 15 year old machine and it seems that I will have to buy a new one soon
. Yet, how will I earn more if I am just having fun here and there? Do you have times where you feel that either you work for a living or live a full life? Share!

I am now busy having fun. But when I was younger I had time and energy to do both work and have fun at the same time.

there are times that i also don't ever use my computer sometimes if my rest day is a busy day for me and i need to go somewhere outdoors,and sometimes when i am in vacation for three to five days,my computer is in vacation too according to the days where i have.

I am usually hooked to the computer when I`m home so I don`t like to take it with me when I go elsewhere. It seems to me that vacations are also vacations from my computer.

me too sometimes I feel guilty when I thought things I need to do when I got home from vacation and then I realize I need to double time to have earnings. Anyway it only happens once in a while maybe we really need to have a break sometime.@marguicha (215058)

I feel that having a break is very important for our mental health. I belive firmly on vacations and days off.

I know money is a necessary evil but I think at our age we should take time off to enjoy life with our friends and family! sorry about your washing machine mine broke a few month ago but was lucky that my friend had one to spare and she gave it to me I only had to pay for the delivery.

. Still, I`d love to have a winning lotto number. I don`t buy lotto tickets though. I hope my old washing machine comes fixed to last until I save enough money to buy a new one.

I`ll make a list of all the luxuries I buy as food ingredients and I`ll not use them for some time. I know I can eat as good with cheaper ingredients. I do that when I feel pressed by some important expense. I also can cut on some bills.

Family and Friends are more important than the objects that needfull to us. Happiness comes from the family and not from the computer so better be with family. meanwhile about the money yes! it is needed as for functioning a good life andd support family it is required to earn money but one should take time to make sure they are not just making more but beside it giging time to the family.
You are good u have done a great job meeting ur nephwe is good even though he live far. It is life that one meet with family and spend some time with them else the life is meanningless.
hope ur will earn more and more money and buy ur new washing machine and not hve to tackle with the old 15 year old machine

I had a lovely time with my nephew. And I have had a lot of outings lately as it is Summer in my country. So I`m spending just a small amount of time at the computer but it is worth it. I`m throwing some coins in my piggybank and this time it will all go towards the new washing machine.

any work i do now a days is at home or online for myself, since i have become disabled. i used to have to work in order to make a living, but my life was not happy. i was trying to work while i was sick, that was so no fun. i wasn't living i was hardly existing. now that i am on disability and make extra money on and offline for myself. now i can say that i am working to have a full life. work shouldn't be a killing thing to the spirit. you should work for lively hood, and your needs will automatically will be met.

I have the same idea you have. I don`t know how much I will live and for how long I will have a good life. I have cancer and it is on remission now, but not cured. So if someone I love invited me, there I go

Oh no! My washing machine broke last year and I went 6 months without a machine - it was not very fun at all and is something I wouldn't wish upon anyone :( I'm not currently working as I'm a full time Carer to my two boys, who both have autism. I used to work but I found that it all became a bit much. I'm much happier now however it would be nice to have money for emergencies though ;)

I started to put $2 since yesterday in my piggybank for the new machine. But it will take me months to have enough for it.. Now my online earnings will go there too.

Hi marguicha!
I have to work everyday in order to earn for our daily living especially now that my husband has already retired from his job.
I am trying every way possible but I don't think I already find what I am looking for online. But I am still giving myself few more months to decided whether I would stop or not.

I hope you find what you want Aries. I am fortunate in that I have enough money for the normal things from my retirement. I live frugally during the year. But things change whan extras come. This problem with my washing machine took me by surprise. I have more money worries since I got cancer. Health insurance doean`t cover a lot of things

These days, I sometimes feel that way like I should work for a living but I am not doing a thing at all. I am going to school in the summer to take the required classes to be able to practice my profession here. This is the first time that I have been out of work in 7 years and just let someone else take care of me-my husband. I am not complaining but of course it's different when I earn money of my own and I can help with the expenses. I know that by doing this I will be well equipped to help him more but for now I guess I just have to go back to being the broke student.

I didn`t work much for a living while I was at the university either. But I had more than my share of unpaid work. I got married at 18 and went through the U with a husband, married live and 2 kids. My husband provided and was awesome though.

i'm still trying to find a good one to make money, but so far i don't feel satisfied with those all making money. i will decide one day what should i do the next step, but so far im just trying to have fun with all kind of making money online.

I have found that I make more money by saving at the house in expenses than what I earn online. If I learn how to make a good meal with cheaper ingredients, I save more than working a long time online.
