Just last week,i got a chance to book at Cebu Pacific my summer trip together with my loved ones at the ever famous white beach in the country, Boracay. Surprisingly being a traveller, this is actually the first time i will step my foot in their white sand and really wondering where will be the great place to stay there. In addition to that, i and my peeps are looking on a budget friendly hotel, so can you reccommend me one? :) ofcourse a place that will add up to to our upcoming white sand experience. :)

I went there last December 2010. We went after our friend's wedding as she lived in Iloilo and her brother decided to pay for the accommodation in Boracay as his wedding gift to her. We were in Station 3 and among the 3 stations hotels and lodges in there are cheaper. But I would recommend Station 1 because it has finer white sand.

Oh I thought you already knew that hehe. Yes, better pick Station 1 because there are a lot of nice stores and restaurants aside from having the finest white sand beaches compared to that of Stations 1 and 2. There are a lot of good hotels there in Boracay. I can't really recommend one as that one we stayed in was in Station 3 and it was more Filipino style. If you like Best Western hotels I'm sure they are also a good option. What I didn't like about staying in Station 3 was having to walk for like almost an hour just to get to Station 1 to pick something nice to eat.

Hi there GelayTuscano! I have been there for a number of times now. I lived in Aklan for six years, the province where Boracay is. So far, the best place to stay, in my opinion, is Boracay Pito Huts. It is on the beachfront, with beach houses, and I love the one on top of the Yellow Cab which is great for a big group. The place is nice and has a reasonable price so that you can have more money to spend on the activities, the night life, and also for shopping.

There's a lot of budget hotels in Boracay. Last time we stayed at La Carmela and it was fun because a lot of Philippine Showbiz personalities stay there also. Good luck to you!
