He said that he spoke to the obamderthal at 5pm the evening of the attack and then never saw or heard from him again that night...In other words, he was AWOL...He did not participate or involve himself at a time when a leader is needed the most...What do you suppose he was doing? Why was he AWOL?

You have no idea what happened in Benghazi, and you will NEVER know what happened in Benghazi. This is another example of our government keeping information from us, for better or worse.

I'll guess. Playing golf? It's interesting how he makes himself scarce any time there is anything near a crisis going on.

It just reinforces the belief that he has other motives for being the POTUS than leading the country to prosperity and peace...

I heard about that, and had to wonder why..? The biggest thing still though is how it was all hush hushed until after the election. I think other presidents (of another party) would never ever get away with that, let alone aided in it by out erstwhile news reporting agencies. - Thid 'old' 70's hippy cannot believe the amount of pro government and trust of government I am seeing these days!!!

It is a complex question you put forward that need some soul digging and deep thinking, we probably will never know the exact answer, we are not even sure how and who is behind the Benghazi's mission outpost attack; whether it is an instantaneous attack led by Muslim mob, a terrorism planned by Islamic militants, or someone walk on the street of Benghazi suddenly decided to carried out this deadly assault on the outpost and kill the ambassador and everyone inside the compound, it is quite true we have being 'cleverly' misled by some high ranking officials from State Department, CIA, white house and Pentagon, what different will it make whether the president is sleeping, working or eating his dinner and dessert that night after 5pm., the diplomat and few other employee in the outpost are killed either way when the army's special delta force two hours away from Libya is not dispatched to the hot spot for rescue operation, their military training is not put into use in this desperate occasion when they are most needed and the purpose of having this contingency force is just meaningless. Panetta's testimony only add more mystery on the actual event surrounding the circumstances.

We will never know because this is the least transparent presidency at least in my lifetime. The obamderthal is willing to spend however much it costs to suppress anything that puts him in a bad light...

Correct, we will never know the truth on it, as you can see, even during the senate armed service committee questioning, majority of the answers came out of those high ranking officials from Pentagon and State Department in session are either irrelevant to the questions asked, or murky in nature and some even outright bizarre- Like the lack of credible intelligence on the ground when a drone is actually in the air above the embassy; it take 20 hours for an F16 fighter jet to arrive in Benghazi from Italy or Spain, deployment of Special forces from Tripoli will endanger the soldiers' life....etc. Instead of able to shed some light on that tragic event, it added more mystery to the attack.

Because we are not suppose to know. And that means the government is up to something shady. The answers are out there. Not really hard to figure out if you dig, and aren't a worshipper of the current CIC.
