I just woke up on my own right when my alarm clock was set to go off! I never had that happen before. I actually woke up two minutes before my alarm clock was set to go off. That must mean I've got the proper amount of sleep that I wanted. Has that ever happening you? Pretty amazing! Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

This was something that I found that I was able to do on a pretty regular basis when I was a woman that was working and I was keeping the same kind of schedule from one day to the next. However, being that I've not been working outside the house for many years and I have to admit that I don't keep a regular schedule, now I have to rely heavily on my alarm clock. It is simply not possible for me to be able to wake up on my own without my alarm clock going off.

I think that when we do something so often for so long that our bodiesbecome accustomed to it. It is uncanny how we can wake up a split second before the alrm clock rings. Probably if the alrms was not set then when we would continue to sleep longer.

I get that but the circumstances are not always the same. Sometimes I would wake up earlier than my alarm clock because Ive had a good and enough sleep. Sometimes, I would wake up minutes before my alarm because I know subconsciously that I am not having enough sleep therefore my apprehensions of over sleeping goes with me until I wake up. I hate that when it happens because I will always say that 5 minutes of sleep is still something, haha!

It happened with me many times. I wake up 5 minutes right before ringing of the alarm. Our brain somehow know when we need to get up. It also happens on the exam mornings. I dont even need to set the alarm now.

When I use to work I usually woke up before the alarm. That is when I knew I had enough sleep also. Having the alarm set was a precaution more then anything to keep me from oversleeping. When I awake before the alarm goes off I would shut the alarm off and start my day. There were times though I would forget to shut the alarm off, then I would end up startled by the noise once it did go off.

Hello, Honestly speaking, this has happened with me many a times, at least 10-20 or even more coz I never counted. It happens mostly around 5-6 minutes in advance when I wake up to see my cellphone, I find that the alarm is yet to go off. These days mostly it happens when I'm sleeping in my office :)

I do that a lot. I think I'm just used to getting up at that time so my body knows it's time to get up.
