Blogging update

I have decided that blogging and trying to earn from it is just not for me. I can't keep up consistantly with the blog and I run out of things to write about. The ads are not earning well at all because of low traffic and that in itself is a huge task to build up your traffic to your blog. I have better places to earn from without taking out extra time for that. I know many people do well through this form of online earning, more power to them. I would rather spend time in myLot discussion. Not only is it more interactive but I feel my time here is worth it. The blogging to me feels sterile and cold and boring. Plus I have one other site I write in (bubblews) that is kind of like blogging too but I earn much more from that than the blogging gets at all! I don't know if I was doing something somehow "wrong" but I also had a PTP banner on my blog. Its called racerPTP but it was earning absolutely nothing. Oh along with cash camel PTP also. I don't understand why those two were not earning a cent at all. It should have been legitimate traffic for them to receive valid hits, they just weren't. So, no out side blogging for me any more. Too bad I wasted that time trying to get it up and running.

Well, blogging isn't really for everyone. Some people got this all working for them. And then again, there's you and me and we both tried blogging but it just doesn't work for us like it did with the others. So now I still blog but only for personal enjoyment and I no longer desire or attempt to be able to earn something out of it. I still like writing, it's therapeutic for me, putting my feelings down to writing instead of keeping it all pent up inside.

Therauputic writing, yes! I enjoy writing and expressing myself. That's one reason to love myLot for sure. I have so much to express through here that I don't really need a blog. Though it could be a different experience for those writers who write better in a blog than a discussion.

I"m ready to drop this endeavor because I've been slacking badly in the sites I already am a part of including myLot. This site is one of my best earners so I do not want this to continue. I also don't want to have to worry about the blog any more, its far too much work for me right now and the earnings are nil.

I agree. Some people write really well on their own blogs. And then there's some who can both write well here and on their blogs.

Time is never wasted (except answering the phone only to find out that it is yet another promotional call ). If you hadn't tried, then you wouldn't know that it didn't work amd would have probably spent time wondering if it was worthwhile. Now you know and you can devote more time here

Yeah that is true also. At least with this knowledge I won't wonder and now I can know for sure to focus on other things like myLot and the sites I know that will pay me.

I guess, blogging isn't really for all those who wanted it. And if you didn't try it out, you wouldn't even know where you can be really happy at! Cheers to Mylot!

Agreed, glad that I found this out myself. Even though it took time to do just a little research there I found out that it isn't for me. This is what counts so I can move on from it!

Hi echo! I also have my own blog but I think I am not really ready for stuff like this. I still have a lot of things to learn about. As of now, I can use my blog as a practice ground. I can also use it to get views for my articles. How about bubblews? How are you doing with the site?

there are a lot of work arounds to do for a blog. So many things I don't know either. I know SEO helps but it sounsd difficult. For me it isn't the route I want to take while earning online. For some it is perfect. Bubblews is really well for me. I will reach $25 at least by the end of this month to cash out again or perhaps sooner. It goes quickly. So far it is a legit site for me, some others say it isn't, I wonder if they broke the rules though.

Bubblews is a good site so far as I can tell. Some say they aren't paid but I wonder if it is because they broke the rules. I was paid once so far and on my way to a 2nd, so, i will see again if they don't pay. A blog for research may be a good thing. A lot of people especially students do research online so you could get a niche that way.
