Ordered my Pyrex set last night

I went on Walmart.ca, and order my Pyrex set. It was on sale for $18.00 and with tax was $20.34 and free shipping. Estimated to get it Monday or Tuesday, it comes with 3 different size caserole dishes, a pie dish, and a measuring cup.

are they still on sale? I want to get some new ones.. i HAD an entire set before but some got broken and some got lost while moving :( I really love Pyrex, I find it cooks food better then the metal pans.

They randomly post them on sale as well, I know the first time I didn't get it in time. But grabbed it this time, I will be getting the storage container hopefully next cashout. hey are good quality, and last forever. I do perfer plastic if I go to work with leftovers just so they don't break but the always soak in the smell of certain foods.

YAY! I got some :)I managed to get a set before they sold out :) I also ordered the 14 piece storage set :) Now i can get rid of most of my older metal ones and plastic containers that are filling up my cupboards lol

That's a pretty cheap price for that kind of set. I love walmart I been there twice this week and each time spent 100 bucks but now I'm good on groceries and clothes, shoes etc for quite sometime. I'll shop again in 2 weeks when I get paid. But yes I love them for free shipping as well.

I know they have some good deals, I have made my list, and hopefully get my money from Payza, and Paypal to my bank and then go shopping.

that is cool. i am sure you will be putting them to good use for sure. is it cheaper to get them on the website than actually going to the store and buying them that way? just wondering.

I LOVE Pyrex stuff!! I miss my big Pyrex measuring cup (I think it held was like 4 cups) . . . it totally fell onto the hardwood floor and broke (and that big sucker fell so many times and never broke before!). I have my eye on another Pyrex food storage set too. They're so easy to clean up. And there aren't issues like there are with plastic or non-stick pans. Enjoy when you get it!!!

I got it today in the mail, it came with 2 caserole dishes, 1 meat loaf pan, a pie dish, and a measuring cup. I think after awhile it softens it, then it breaks.

That is awesome. I'm glad you were able to get a set you like. I'm sure you will have a great time using it as well. It is fun to buy things like that when we enjoy cooking and baking different things. You will have to share what you make in them the first time.
