This morning, I filed an undertime, after lunch until 2pm, since it's Saturday and my boss isn't reporting yet, as she always do on Staurdays. My boss said okay. So, after lunch , I went to Salon Mye, an affiliate of us, in the mall where all our offices are. When I stepped into the salon I was so surprised to see my boss, having her pedicure and manicure. We laughed out loud because we both have the intention to beautify ourselves. Mine, is to have a haircut , a short type of cut than my usual. Oh my, for the second time, my boss and I saw each other on my filed undertimes! When she saw my new haircut, she decided to have her hair cut too!

Hi there SimplyD! That is funny. Maybe you should ask her next Saturday if she would like to go with you to the salon again. That's a nice bonding session with your boss. Well, as long as there's not much to do in the office anyway, right?

Well, i don't always file an undertime. I try to see the situation before doing so. It just so happened that i have finished all that she instructed me to do, and she wasn't at the office so i asked for her permission. Little did i know that she will also be in that salon as me.

My boss and I aren't really seeing each other like you are, I also have a female boss but she lives in the south so I would guess she has favorite salon over there, while I do have a favorite place where I also go to at times here in the north. But that is great that both of you does seem to see each other often when you do not have a work. That is also a way for both of you to a get to know each other.

My boss and i know each other so well. We always would chat about ourselves and our family after office hours. Thus, we also talk about how we could beautify ourselves, thus seeing me have a new hair cut, made her have hers too, though she said she was just there for her pedicure and manicure. I guess, i am a good influence to her.

That's funny! Well, at least your boss couldn't give you grief for taking off early from work. As she clearly had the same intentions as you. And it's not the matter of completing the hours at work anyway, it's completing the job which is more important. Why do you have to work on Saturdays anyway?

That's true, it's the completion of the job that is important, and she knows that i have done all the things she wants me done. It was actually any undertime from 1-2pm, after which i returned to the office, as she did also. She had me make some emails for her. Yes, we have Saturday work, since we are in operation. We are operating a mall. And on Saturdays, she usually doesn't report to work. Instead she relies on me on Saturdays by calling on the phone for instructions. Whew, it's a good thing we both like beautifying ourselves once in a while.

Hi, I don't have any female boss. Since beauty is applicable to both, laughing was a good thing you both did. I never had any such experience except meeting 2/3 colleagues in the common mall / vegetable market etc.

I think it's because we are fond of beautifying ourselves whenever we can. That's why we both laughed that we are both not in the office because we are in the beauty salon.
