Hey guys, i would like every one out here to know about Kumbh Mela, a sacred fair that is held every 12 years in India. Such is the sacredness of this fair that people from around the world come to the 4 places where this fair is held only, namely Haridwar, Allahabad, Nasik and Ujjain. This time around it is at Allahabad and it is believed that taking a dip in the river at the fair is considered very very pious and religious. I had the opportunity to visit this fair with my parents for the first time. my parents had already taken a dip before this. I was scared to take a dip initially but then i did not think anything and took a dip and i felt very lucky that i was a part of this fair. Nearly 4 crore people had come that day to take this dip. We took a boat and reached the confluence or Sangam of river Ganges and took a dip and returned immediately to our rooms. It was a very religious moment that i wont forget ever in my whole life. In fact many famous Hollywood celebrities had visited this fair this year also. what are your thoughts on this guys? Have u ever heard about this fair? Have u ever take a dip in Ganges?
