Being inlove is like you're on the cloud9. But being brokenhearted is falling from the cloud9 directly to the ground. When is it best to go out on a date after a heartbreak?

No one can tell you or dictate you... when you are ready to move on from a heartbreak. It's your call and I think that the moving on process really depends on how the person deals with it. ME,,,I undergo HEARTBREAK for a very minimal time. Most is a month,,, It's doesnt mean that I don't love the guy that I broke up with but I just chose to be happy and move on,, Greiving too much will just make me look miserable anyway.. So why waste my time on it,, And there is a saying that "there's a lot of fish in the ocean" I always say to myself... "It's there lost not mine"

So is it okay to go out on a date even a week after that so called heartbreak? Will it be okay to let yourself forget the pain by seeing someone new??

Charot! take a break from a heartbreak. Are you in a rush? MAYBE because STRAIGHT men are running out.lol Jem, right time is dependent upon the arrival of the right person, but if that right person is astray trying to get his way back on track , then maybe you'll have to wait a little longer. Don't jump into another relationship with the wrong person. It will just break your heart again. And I agree with Dianon, i think you have to feel the pain until it hurts no more, then youre ready. :)

I don't encourage to move on by seeing someone else. You will just both end up hurt.
